    Update
Dropped car at the dealership yesterday morning.
Got a call this morning abs sensor faulty that’s going to be £300 sir!
My reply I bought the car 6 days ago- his reply you got it at a trade price- my reply I’m not a trader ! To cut a long story short of backwards and forwards banter I have agreed to pay £50 towards the cost.
Only reason I agreed to contribute was it was the only way it was going to get resolved maybe I should have stood my ground !

As much as I think they are fools which is my opinion it does look great almost what it would feel like to be a dream state cos that’s the only way I’m ever going out on ledge like that ..I may do things they think are foolish and they probably do !

Im talking about any country not just the UK for rescueing !

Rescue teams are streched beyond all belief so by doing this sport could stop someone else getting rescued….so by wearing a rope could avoid all this rescuing if it should be needed…what do I know we used Mountain rescue this year with my 4yr old in the Lakes…talking to the guys, they dont like it when they have to go to accidents that could have been avoided. (yes before you say any accident could/can be avoided). I gave the MRT a hefty donation.

my boats already rocked ! 4 hrs sleep 3 unwell in the house and to top it all a 2 mile walk into work after dropping car at the garage all in terantial rain…otherwise Im fine ! I need Mountain Rescue ! but they wont come out to London !

Cheers Yunki get that coffee !

For the record my brother used (15yrs ago) to free climb and fell…he was in hospital a long time…I called him a lot more than a fool ! He still has operations on his back ! He is still an Adrenaline freak but justs takes more care now ! Whats funny is that his kids are just like him…fearless brain wired in a different way for sure !

yunki – I fail to see why you have to ruin a nice thread that is actually interesting…why do you feel the need to do so ? I was asking a genuine question ! ( I totally understand that if the question doesn’t suit you I will stop asking such questions cos I wouldn’t want to upset you)

Whilst crossing the road or cycling can dangerous its ever so slightly different to climbing only just ever so slightly though !

    and he hasn’t fallen yet

    I hope he doesn’t fall…

please refrain yourself from sniping back at my opinion….

What is it are we not allowed an opinion !
In my eyes they are fools it neither makes me wrong or right.
    I personally wouldn’t do it that’s because I can’t wipe sh1t !

    Fools !
How does it work when one of them falls and dies/injured and a helicopter /emergency crew have to come out…who pays for it ? I doubt theyd get insured! And the poor sods who finds the splattered climber !

It was impressive though ! Must be a parents worst nightmare ah yes my son/daughter is a free solo climber…

    spoke to my neighbour

he said callipers were okay discs a little worn but not excessive smell he said could be new pads wearing/bedding in it does happen some times they smell….ABS light bad luck could have happened anytime !

will take car to him as the pistons/

hand brake may need adjusting….but why would this make the ABS light come on ?

I forgot to say that the dealer DID change the front pads on day of purchase as they were low, so low it was mentioned on the MOT so they had no choice but to change them…may be just maybe ?

trail_rat thank you for seeing my point with the neighbour…

it was my choice to change the pads there was a few 1000s left on them Im an4l about pads so i had them changed where I get them changed is my choice dealer would have charged over £120 !

*UPdate I have jacked the car both sides and wheels turn freely slight scraping on left hand side more like a pad rubbing noise but ever so slight.

I don’t want to be slated over who is responsible or where I should have had them changed I just want to try and diagnose problem…

2 boys, 3.5yrs and 5yrs both get ready at 6.30 story etc in bed by 7 asleep by 7.15/30 weekends the same no exceptions (unless their cousins are in town)

We have been strict from the start with bed times it means we both get an evening of course as they get older times will change…

…so not that Im doubting any of your answers cos I know them to be true (asked a friendly AA bloke I saw in the street)

why is it in my other car the water stays at the same level ? I used it this eve and checked when I got home it was at the same level start and finish ! Both cars are nissans one a micra the other an Almera tino…weird or not just different engineering perhaps !?!?!

after getting quotes from howdens, wickes, magnet and tesco all of which we had to put up with glorified sales persons who knew only how to measure a space put it into their computer and come up with the most boring designs… we then went to a local kitchen shop and the owner came round with his graph paper and pencil designed it on the spot and it came in at least £1500 cheaper ! he got our business best design and knew what he was doing !

    keep it local

Having had African friends’ children to stay at our house a few times I can tell you the following:

They will be incredibly shy and the visit will not be the big bonding experience you hope. They will seem to prefer to chat with their pals on [/quote]BBM or Faceplant than talk to you. They will always be cold and shivering, no matter how high you turn up the heating. They will be polite about your food but would really prefer fried chicken with rice and a spicy tomato sauce. They will sleep a lot in bed and as soon as they get in the car because they’ve been up until 3 am on the laptop. If you walk anywhere they will amble at about 2 mph and nothing you can do or say will make them walk faster. Oh and of course Sunday means church and don’t forget to say grace before every meal. Otherwise they are lovely guests

    I love a good honest reply !
