I think changes to contract terms have to be agreed, they can’t be imposed.

if you don’t agree its lets find a way to sack you 6 months down the road !

So – just to be clear – at the moment you don’t work any bank hols, but these days come off your 28 – so you only have 20 days holiday that you can ‘choose’ when to take?

and under the new contract – you would work four or five bank hols?

in that case, yes, you would still get the other days as annual leave to use as and when (as agreed) to the statutory minimum.

has there ever been a need to work bank hols? in the event that you did under the old contract, was there any reward?

You should keep 28days of holiday, but you will get one more day to book whenever you want for every bank holiday you work.

Neil F – G672 ALF must have come from the same supplying garage !

MOT is due in July so going to wait till then to have MOT, service and Timing belt done, spoken to my mechanic and some other car forums and this been the recommended advice just incase the MOT is a disaster ! Sounds feasible.

My mechanic said cost to replace timing belt about £200 all in which seems fair.

I am totally reliving my youth its a real pocket rocket !

Now I know this isnt a Mazda forum but it looks like I can get a few answers here

    1. Is it a hard job changing the Timing belt ? Rough estimate ? my mechanic is pretty good with prices but I know this needs to be done.

    2. Last oil change was in 2008 its done 700 miles since then ? Should it be changed again ?

    3. thermostat seems erratic £7 from gsf ! Hard job ? Could I do this myself ?

Many thanks for all your replies

    some of this

    A) The death of all original thought, that the human race are now locking in some cycle of repetative discourse on the same topics without any form of resolution

    and this

    B) The total opposite along the lines of “We’re All individuals…” that Humans are all special and unique and full of creative energy and potential…

If you still need booster seats for your kids then you’re no-where near ready for a mid-life crisis yet. Spend your money on a people carrier instead…

the boosters are available for a 944 they cost £170 each…I need two of them
