Yes he’s fast however running is the only thing he really cares about, it’s his super power of ADHD and Autism.
He’s out every morning before school 5k
Trains with his club twice a week and competes every other weekend.
He’s never wanted to do a park run before due to the amount of people that attend. He really surprised me on Friday and asked if he could do one I wasn’t going to say no, he had a great time and really enjoyed it so much so he wants to do one next weekend.
He is fully aware it’s not competitive but fun. We just couldn’t work out how the timings worked. Of course I’m not going to ask to have his time changed what sort of knob would do that!

some great advice on here, though as we know only to well it can be hard to diagnose at a young age unless its really apparent – going for appointments etc can add more stress to child and parents

My only words of wisdom are all families with Autism/ADHD have a their own journey to make…it doesn’t always go to plan.

Very brave of them to come across so openly.

Not that it matters but Im pretty sure he would have been paid.

Yes it was a good program on many levels, firstly getting Autism out in the open and not some taboo subject.

My only gripe and I feel more than justified to have this opinion as a father to two boys with Autism and Adhd (12/14yrs) – in the real world try getting an appointment with CAMHS to be diagnosed or if you’re really unlucky the school senco dept to actually help.
We have been lucky with both of our boys getting diagnosed, one has an EHCP the other not, his school refuses to support one, which causes us all a number of issues. We have now gone legal on the school which doesn’t come cheap and causes many different levels of stress and anxiety for all of us.

Money or who you are should never come into getting a diagnosis or the help required…

Oldest was about 6 at the time, we were out for a walk and we found some natural chalk.
He decided to keep a chunk of chalk rock – fast forward a few days later and there was a nice chalk drawing on the bonnet of the car…
…let’s just say the chalk drawing didn’t just dust off. Oh how we all laughed!

My neighbour eventually bought the car from us, he questioned the go faster markings, we told him it must have been local youths ! * he still has the car and yes the drawings are still on the bonnet.

Oldest was advised never to chalk draw again…on paint work of cars.

Both our sons have autism/adhd, both have turned their rooms upside down at various times when they’ve lost the plot. As they’ve got older these outbursts have almost stopped. Perhaps for our sons it was an age thing, who knows. They’re both extremely high functioning top sets at school etc, when they loose the plot the verbal language would make you blush.
If it isn’t the language then it’s iPhones being thrown at walls full pelt !
The last year alone must have had to replace about 5 or 6 phones. Next time it’s the brick phone.

As for our neighbour it’s just the mum there now who is also well into her 80s
All very tragic- who knows if interventions were in place.

Just for clarification – RR wheels are rated at 900-925kg per wheel and a T32 T5 wheels are specified at 860kg each – and mine in a T28 so in effect the wheels are over specified

It’s not to do with weight, it’s the off set.

As long as you’re happy and have checked that they’re the same offset you’ve nothing to worry about.
