Do you want your bum wiping as well !

If this post is for real then your current undies must be absolutely rancid! How long is not in a while ???
More skid marks than Heathrow runway comes to mind !

In your case I’d recommend old flour sacks

Loving the North London massif !

    Where from ?

Are you original North Londoners ??
I grew up in Woodside Park, moved not far to whetstone in my 20s bought a flat and been in Southgate the last 11years or so since.

Apart from /education/traveling for a year I’ve not moved far !

unfitgeezer, not sure where you are in southgate but I’d always thought all the stuff near the station was restricted parking (I’m not disputing you, just surprised)

I’m a 3 miles away… northern line FTW! (although I cycle into London)

Most stations have parking so if you’re there at a reasonable time you should be OK – high barnet, totteridge and whetstone, stanmore, cockfosters, oakwood. All close to the M25 or M1 and quick to access

My road is unrestricted, one of the many few – we fought hard against council and won (for the time being), on a fast walk its 4 mins to station….

Forget East Finchley, coming across north circ always time consuming
Come off at Potters Bar M25 10 mins to Southgate, park on my road walk to tube 5 mins, straight into town 20mins on picadilly line .
Northern line is also sh 1 t

Cockfosters station is 2 away from Southgate

    All in a success !

    Starter
    Asparagus with fried Chorizo
    &
    Beef tomato /mozzarella salad
    (warm crusty poncy bread)

    Main
    Beef Sausage casserole
    Mushroom Rice
    more warm poncy crusty bread

    Dessert
    Cornish ice cream
with a poncy cheesecake (not homemade)

Must have been good as they arrived at 12pm and they didn’t leave till 11.30pm ! I made so much casserole there was enough for round two in the evening ! (two big le creuset dishes, was hoping to have it for dinner today!)

Plenty of red wine consumed by the children adults

and the bonus was a free firework display up on the Green !

    Thanks for all input

    Fajitas.
Fun for everyone and you can ‘customize’ it for your own preference.
Depending on the age but kids love it too. A bit more interactive than ladling xyz from casserole dish to plate.

Are you insane !! No way I’m even going to try and attempt Fajitas for a mexican !

    Feeling the pressure here !!!

Sounds like you need to buy a new car as yours seems not to have electric windows…

Shouting ensued. I wound the window down and told the guy we were in a bit of a rush and I only beeped the horn to make the rider aware of our presence.

I’ve not spoken to doctor again, have a call set up with him tomorrow to discuss.

It’s not painful but I know it’s there if that makes sense.

I’ve spoken to my anaesthetist friend and he said, if they don’t do keyhole then have it done with a local anaesthetic, again this is something I’ll discuss with hospital.

    True story

My Best friend and his sister own a very well known watch brand, when their mother died 2 years ago the son in law (sister husband) gave a speech at the funeral along with all the usual nice things that are said at funerals he also said that every year for the last 20 years the mother (in law) had given them cling film and silver foil for presents ! It turned out it was the only thing she felt she could give to them as they had everything !

A useful present is always best !
