I picked up my new old-stock 2010 Pitch frame last year for £400, maybe give you some idea of frame value.

Mostly I love it, but not too sure on the Fox shock that came with it, seems to run through the travel very easily, although I rarely get it to bottom out.

Results it in getting a lot of pedal strikes, but as far as I can see that’s more a feature of the FSR design than anything else.

I like the practicality of my Dakine, but find unless I close off the bite guard, it drips. It doesn’t seem to give a good flow of liquid either, seem to get a lot of air when I draw on it.

City Hall tour maybe, trip into Victoria Centre and up to the top of the dome for a look over Belfast, followed by a swift pint and a bite to eat in the Kitchen bar.

Or the Belfast Bus Tour followed by Kelly’s Cellar and a wander past City Hall and back up Arthur St.

Either of those should fill 3 hrs. Failing that bring the bike & head to Cave Hill.

edit: re Cynic-Al’s post. Stormont is on the bus tour but the building is not accessible, maybe by appointment. Titanic Centre is a modern tourist attraction but actually worth a visit. However 3 hrs on a Saturday might be cutting it fine unless you race round.

Thanks, on behalf of her family, for your thoughts. I have to admit that, although our families were close when we were younger, time moves us apart and in recent years the only contact I had with her really was through Facebook.

But I was always impressed by her determination that she wasn’t just going to give in, even when she lost Mike, or when the doctors told her more bad news. It makes me think how often I, we, take for granted our health, the opportunities to enjoy it and how I often squander the time I have.
