I thought it was great. The set design, costumes and actors were not perfect copies of the anime, but they were good, modern live-action translations.

Would have liked to see more of Radical Edward & Ein, but the additional storyline probably took away time from developing those characters.

One of the things I love about it is the genre-melding. Western sci-fi martial arts noir.

Hope it gets a second series.

We’ve been working out way through Bosch over the last few months. After a shaky start, it came fairly good. Looking forward to this (final?) series.
Couple of niggles though. The daughter irritates me. Only has 2 expressions, confused and/or exasperated. Although that may be a reasonable representation of a teenage girl.
And sometime they seem to open a thread of investigation that goes nowhere. KTK? Was there a point? And the body parts investigation that Pearse & Vega started at the end of S5 just got solved off camera at the start of S6.

Very sorry to hear that TJ. I’m sure the love and care over these weeks helped make things easier for her. Hopefully the knowledge you all did everything you could will help you cope as well.

Every so often I’ll get a sneezing fit for maybe 5 minutes, seems to be related to temperature regulation as having a glass of cold water or opening the window usually brings it to an end.

However, one evening my wife prematurely brought it to a conclusion by shouting “Pineapples!” just as I was about to sneeze. She’d heard that the confusion caused in the sneezers mind by this caused the sneeze to short circuit. And it did.

The torment I went through that evening, just about to sneeze and unable to follow through, as it were. Torture

Well that escalated quickly

Just reading your last post had brought a smile to my face thinking about my old Minis. Had a Clubman estate bought at 15 to learn in, and an ’84 998, which broke me so many times.

The Clubman is the only car I really regret not keeping.

Got mine yesterday morning, 10am. Started to feel a bit of aching around the groin, lower back at 4pm. Mild joint pain right knee & arm 8pm. Started to feel light headed around 9pm, then chill at 10pm. Light nausea.
Went to bed at 11pm, shivering. Up a couple of times for a pee then woke at 7am with a really sore head. Paracetamol & ibuprofen at 8am. Felt muggy all morning but aches were mostly gone by midday and feel fine now.
Overall, worth it

Yes, one of the best series I watched for some time. We both really enjoyed it.

I started watching out maybe a year ago and couldn’t figure out what it was supposed to be about so packed it in. Went back to it again after seeing the love for it here and just finished season 5. Excellent stuff.

Let’s hope there’s no questions about posting images…
