I want to live in a country where moneycentric greedy pricks parasiting off the backs of the rest of us are consigned to the bin of history…

Accidentally bought a 10 speed Sun Race 11-42t cassette rather than an 11 speed to replace the very, very worn XT cassette and it still works well.

With the 11 speed shifter as well as the mech?

I’ve been thinking. Jeremy Corbyn, seriously cool.

Not cool in the same way as pre war Blair, but cool nonetheless.
    A different kinda cool

You must show your respect in the proscribed manner, at the proscribed time. Respect will be shown for certain events only, others will be ignored. You will share comments about how with people of city X are so wonderful and resilient. You will tweet inspiring memes about how the people of country Y aren’t scared. These are the rules.

Followed by the 2 minute hate?

Labour are a threat to everyone because they’ll trash the economy.

    Show me the evidence.

Blair Brown oversaw 14 years of economic growth until a global crisis financial hit. Darling and Brown set us well on the road to recovery until Osborne trashed the economy

The right do indeed seem unable to learn from history and we are all doomed to repeat it

They do learn. Warmongering supports a vast industry with exponential profits

I’ll make it bollocks, still. It was 2 female ex prisoners who’d served their tariff.

Mr Corbyn replied: “They were former prisoners who had come out of prison, women who had came out of prison to Parliament, actually to a meeting that had been arranged long before, (the Brighton bombing) to talk about prison conditions and rehabilitation of prisoners. Is there anything wrong with that since they had a spent conviction?

It wasnt Corbyn who invited them if i recall, but an office junior, but dont let the facts get in the way of total bollocks

Dya wanna keep up these IRA smears, ’cause theres another 2 Torys linked to the IRA that i can point links to as well as the one above, and im sure more can be dug out the woodwork.

Dya wanna hear the story of the ex IRA ASU member who was working both sides, was thrown out the cause for robbing old ladies with a baseball bat, went running to Mi5 for protection, then shipped
to Liverpool where he was later convicted for supplying heroin and after serving 7 years at Essels leisure, was welcomed with open arms in the Torquay Conservatives?

Egr fault and you’d know about it, when they stick open it sounds like the head gasket has gone and smokes for england!!

Sticking shut is fine and i’ll often disable hi milers in to a stuck shut state

Look next to the air filter box for the air plenum connecting to the EGR assembly, its a ClicR clip so you’ll need pliers for, or get creative with some nippex cutters unless its already been swapped for a jubilee worm drive clip. Its a 3″ dia assembly. look if it has a vac actuated flap at the very end, see if this is remaining open when you rev, when it sticks shut it gives the same symptom as soma described for a choked air filter.

On a 05 plate it shouldnt have that kind of “flap” system, but they do fit the manifold of all these engines, so a bodge by a previous owner could see one fitted

I can build PSA Dw8’s in my sleep ;) Theres 2 on my bench as i type
The belt can be pinned up in the timing holes fine, but if the verniers are not done correctly according to model year (2 types -verniers on cam and pump, or slot on crank and verniers on pump) as you tension the belt it can go out by even a couple of degree, dependent on which way it goes you either get diesel knock or smoke. Advanced by a midges and they run quiet and clean to the eye, but exhaust temperature runs off scale and you get EML lights and EGR faults. MPG goes up a tad in that instant tho

Thats a serious leak tho. check top of injectors for damage to leak off pipes

    ulysse

Wouldnt run right and smoke like a chimney if the belt timing is out. as would crank sensor fault.
number 1 injector sensor failure (clutch end) knocks its bollocks off, only thing i can think of if not a leak is an earlier type egr with choke flap wrongly plumbed for vacuum, closing up and strangling the engine. makes em really slow though

You mention that you don’t feel full, but do you actually feel hungry?

When I was younger and didn’t know what gluten intolerance was, I’d often get that feeling with weetabix. 3 in a bowl, still feel hungry.
I was mistaking the feeling of hunger pangs with the feeling of my body reacting to gluten…

I can imagine it – I did so when the Labour manifesto included unilateral nuclear disarmament, something that I thought was incredible dangerous

When was that? Under Michael Foot?

As a Green, I wouldn’t give a shite about labour if they lose, i’m concerned with the winning – the Corbynites espouse some of my parties goals. I don’t care how it’s brought about but I’m realist enough to realise that uk politics and some of its electorate are still too immature to accept Green policy. So Corbyn as a trojan horse and backdoor to more “Green” policy is fine by me.
But if Labour do lose, I would welcome any move to encourage Corbyn /Mcdonnel / Rayner /Abrahams to defect to us.

Bikeregister your bike. Qr scan code on a tamperproof sticker, uv codes etched on the frame, logbooks in your wallet. A quick scan with a smartphone by the emergency services points em to your name and address

Brexit. Lets take our country back, was tossed about freely in conversation.
What could be more “taking the country back” than Corbyns vision of taking the railways back from the Dutch Germans and French, taking Royal mail back from George Osborne’s best man, taking Electricity back from EDF….

Yup, that’s what I was aiming at by calling Tory voters murderers and enablers on the Corbyn thread, Zokes.
    Hyperbole, absolutely.
But ignorance couldn’t be used as an excuse as despite the hyperbole, links to deaths and death statistics were provided which were linked to Tory welfare reform, so the only conclusion I could come to is as you state above.

An interesting adjunct to this is everyone even the rich are happier in more equal countries – so although the rich don’t want to be taxed more actually taxing them more and redistributing wealth makes them happier

They be happier because they’re less likely to be turned over at the cash machine or be a victim of a household burg or sheding, getting thier 5 grand whip nicked..
