No, that’s the mk3, the 2004 face lift is mk2 and far more refined drive than the mk1

Lee Quarry, all time fave, 20 to 30 minute drive, followed by Guisburn, hour and half drive, and then my local- either no drive or a 10 minute drive to start from Clifton Country park and follow the banks of the Irwell to Phillips Park’s MTB trail

Ive just bought a Large version of my current frame, 2016 bizango (yeah yeah, halfords crap- carry on!) as im getting old fat and past it, and want to see if a trade off for efficency over chuckability will suit me, so its getting built from all the bits i’ve upgraded on my medium frame.
So that means the large frame will be built as per it left halfords, complete with the normal style seat post.
It’s gonna be interesting, as people above have already said, the dropper is used as everything from a hill start aid, waiting about at gates feet on the floor, another gear on climbs, techy rock gardens, steep descents…

Non custodial sentence was the right decision in my opinion, based on what we read in the news report there

Mine get rock strikes on almost every ride, the metal replaceable pins are rock solid, never moved, but the 2 plastic molded in plastic pins on the outer edge are both long gone… And they are still the same color as when I bought them in summer last year despite this abuse!
Bearings feel the same as when new too.
    I’d definitely recommend nukeproofs Horizon

Rear wheel arch? That puts it within 30 cm of the seat belt mount And the floor to sill area, both structural. Needs welding. Outer skin? That can be filled if it’s failed because of jagged edges

Granted, you can buy the bits from CRC for about £3 and wait a week and fit them yourself, or pay lbs price of around £7, and fit it yourself, or you could pay the guy a not out of the way £20 for his Labour and not inconsiderable overheads.
So the op begrudges giving a twenty spot to someone digging him out the shit?
I’d drop some random a 10 or 20 spot if they fixed a mechanical at the trailside if I couldn’t fix it myself – but I ain’t a Tightwad!

I’d not ridden for 3 years after this latest munchkin came along, to the point I’d sold everything apart from the camel packs. Last year after walking the South coast trail and nearly puking my ring out on a hill that I’d have previously ate for breakfast I decided it was time to get back on the pedals before it’s too late.
So I bought the Whyte 529 and chose the trails with godawful climbs. 6 weeks in spring, of 3 days a week, and my fitness on the bike was almost back to break baby level.

Two ( ?) shop mechanic on this thread saying its a five minute job.

That’s why they are mechanics and not i presume the business proprietor.

£20 for the first hour weather it took that long or not, another £20 if it creeps in to a second hour and so forth, this is made clear before work commences round here, then parts which does not seem unreasonable at £7

The age of the boiler has nowt to do with the reliability in my experience.
My Ma’s estate had baxi back boilers installed in 1976, those that were right to buy’d generally still have these systems fitted and are still working reliably aside from the separate heating circulation pumps which seem to last about 7 or 8 years before needing replaced. The back boilers seem to get by on the yearly gas safe checks and the odd igniter circuitry once every blue moon or if the pilot has been extinguished for 8 months of the year.
On the other hand, those with modern condensing boilers seem the be on the fritz at least once a year

a good fried is a senior copper in GMP
he has become very disillusioned with the police, mostly:
he spends a lot of time disciplining coppers who he thinks should be fired for serious transgressions but they always get get let off

I’ll bet he loves David Kehoe then, how that bloke still has a job, never mind a rank is a total mystery, unless he has the naked pictures of Tony Loyd stuck in an underage sheep or something…
Missing drugs while head of Drugs squad, check, wrongfully arresting innocents and attempting to fit them up, check- thrown out of court…..

Clowns like these two overshadow all the good cops out there.

The real problem here TJ, is the good one’s allow and enable the bad ones behavior by inaction, making them also, bad cops
