The suntour epicon on the Voodoo has been ok, had my ass handed to me by orange 5s by say 20mtr from top to bottom of last bit of Lee Quarry, but it’s 5 grand full boing bikes against a halfords shitter!

Edit in fact whatever the suntour were on the Carrera 26ers back in the day used to handle Healy Nab, Lee Quarry cragg quarry and gisburn just fine too.

We destroyed a few of the low rent rockshox forks around Cragg back then however

That was more of football / sport being funded by us the fans, alongside the Greg Dyke Alan Sugar /Rupert Murdoch triumvirate , I was stood at the laying of the foundations of the then Reebok , and it just hit me, my season ticket is going up to build that thing, and pay over inflated salaries, and it was all to get Sugars receiving equipment beaming Murdoch propaganda in to our homes, and The Sun did the first thrust of the advertising that persuaded us of the merits. Get Sky sports in to our homes and the other channels follow by default including the insidious Sky News, that gets around slander laws by describing itself as an ” entertainment show” instead of news.

Citroen c15 van. Starter motor bolts can be undone but wont withdraw without hitting the radiator so the entire front end has to come off to get th ebolts out

    ????

Air filter out, battery out, crack 13mm main wire, crack 8mm solenoid wire, H8 allen socket preferably 50mm long, 3/8th drive, top 2 bolts out, move wiring holder up, bottom one out, lift upwards at an angle, 15 minutes in and out!

I once paid for a Charlie small time Isp provider for my mother, not a big internet user so lowish speeds, just so she could take a stab at modern communications and such, and they ended up being bought out by sky broadband.
The phonecall as to why i was cancelling the service was interesting to say the least

I spent last Saturday wiring up the tow-bar electrics on my car – was I inadvertently breaking the law?

Many many moons ago when id acrimoniously split from an ex, i got a knock at the door, blue coated gent, clipboard and council ID on a string..
“We believe you’ve been repairing cars on your driveway”

Me: I dont think so chap… for a start i’ve got commercial premises so why would i do jobs in the rain when i can be dry and warm…

Oh hold on a minute, I DID do a job on the drive the other day”

    Council bods face perks up
    “oh really?”

Me: “Yeah, the woman who has obviously sent in your complaint, (insert name) I noticed her rear number plate was hanging off when she came by for a nosey, so i screwed it back in place”

Council bod, now on his frowny face, mumbles “I dont think that counts, Sir, Good day.”

Now is the time to push that **** and his poisonous publications out of business. Boycotts like the scousers have done with The Sun.

His manipulation needs to become a public joke we all laugh at.

Are you willing to boycott all Murdoch products?
Sky, broadband / tv, Fox films,FX, News corp, live sports events sponsored by him?

Ive done it since the Reebok / Macron foundations were laid with the exception of stealing via p2p fox films and the odd fx series so he still gets nowt from me

Looks like the newer pioneers have such a feature as you describe, cheaper than a new car, and besides she loves this Peugeot and wouldn’t like to see the back of it

The phone did everything in the old van, mounted at eye level, the new van has built in eye level Tomtom carminat and its insanely brilliant, phone never leaves my pocket, Bluetooth picks up calls as soon as it pairs on ignition on.
Nav runs in the background even if no route is programmed, providing speed camera, overspeed, accident blackspots, schools proximity and other alerts by audibly cutting any media playing and sounding a warning

The car however is used by the mrs for running the shop, she does deliveries as part of the service, so it’s constantly in and out of action , I do know from experience that mounting a phone in any kind of holder and booting a nav app every ten minutes will soon get old, I was hoping a nav app could be hardwired to the headunit to run in background at ignition on, as the Carminat does.
Looks like I’m going to have to put my hand in my pocket and find a Renault without the keyless or key card system, as the last time I bought her a megane she couldn’t get on with the system, I spent more time being called out to reset the immobiliser that’s she’d confused the shit out of almost daily! Sold it within a month!

Not me. Just encourages them. The desire to be a politician should automatically exclude a person from ever becoming one. Especially Conservatives.

Someone knows how to quote Billy Connolly.

I’m afraid Arthur C Clarke beat Billy to that one…

Meanwhile, the mugger is a guest of Essel at a cost to the taxpayer of £48000 per annum, he gets out and is bail hostelling at (in 2012) £360 per week cost to the taxpayer.

That sanction of £70 per week plus housing benefit looks great value now?

When your bike / bikes get nicked and you come on here moaning about the fact the police can’t be bothered to turn up because they are too underfunded to care, remind me to mock you.
Not sure if joking or not. You just get a crime report number to give to the insurance company same as a decade ago

OK then, let’s turn it up, let’s say some **** gets sanctioned can’t feed his family and **** you up as you walk away from the cash machine…

Odds on desperation and a 3×2 trumps any perceived Ninja skills the one being mugged might think they possess

Out of interest, what does that gain above and beyond not voting?
    POSTED 19 MINUTES AGO # REPORT-POST

    Seriously?

It gets registered as spoiled, non of the above in an absence of a “none of the above” box

It gets registered as a protest

Not voting gets chalked to apathy..
A protest by not voting can be mistaken for voter apathy

if it is uncomfortably expensive to live in London, try living somewhere where it is more comfortable.

We’ve had some terrific orators from all the mainstream parties and even if we disagree we should at least listen to them first.

    That’s all I’m saying.

I’m done listening to and engaging with murderous greed ridden liars and their enablers.

Left wing missives on here and elsewhere will never change their nature nor voting habits. Only personal epiphany has the possibility of that

I’ve said it elsewhere, but we are conditioned that our standard of living can only possibly get better. Its expected we have the best of everything, best NHS, best Education, best Police and if any of those don’t get the best funding, there is outrage.
But we don’t like taxes to pay for it, because we also like to have the best flat screen TV’s, best SUV’s and best mountain bikes.

So you take away the “Money” element.
