Happy with the Bosch Aerotwins from WiperBlades.co.uk
Giving the blades and the windscreen a proper clean ever now and then helps immensely.

I ordered the 130mm 29er boost grip performance at €280 when I first saw this psa ,when i got the second confirmation email they described them as rythym perf grip

Just checked and mine is described the same. Hopefully it’s a Performance fork that turns up.

Ordered a 29er 34 Perf 130mm boost (non pedal elec), but seems to have vanished from the website now. See if it gets dispatched.

Love my RLT, but never been a fan of their FS frames with the horrible reach around lower linkage.

I sat on a large Sentinel and it felt fine at 183cm.
I was interested in the Smuggler, but the shop didn’t have any.
Any chance you can weigh the Smuggler frame? I was scared off by the ’18 Patrol weighing a porky 4.2kg.

Much like those cast Empire frames, this seems to be a solution in search of a problem.

Ex-lease Mazzer, can be had for (relative) peanuts if you email around. Grinder for life.

We have the old version folding Mow Joes in 2.0 (380g), can be run at very low pressures. Best weight/volume tyre I could find at the time.

Bike shop had a couple of Sentinels being built along with a Patrol frame. Really nice frames with clever details, but staggering heavy (Patrol was a tank-like 4.2kg).
Hopefully the new Smuggler hasn’t been beefed up in the same way.

A 2018 patrol frame in the bike shop was a staggering 4.2kg.

Yes, the bearings are external to the shell. I’m using a Shimano crank in a Praxis PF30 BB, works perfectly.
What crank are you planning on using?

I found the Conti Speed CX terrible. Slippery, harsh, puncture prone. They are cheap though.
I’d go GK for the size you’re after.

I ended up getting mine from Germany (R2) a couple of weeks ago. Nice tyre btw.

I take it you’ve done this with non-finned pads?

Yes, Shimano g40s pads. Just replaced these with Uber matrix pads, which have required more fettling as the pad material isn’t as accurately located on the backing plate. Will be interesting to see how they compare to the Shimano pads.

How was the fit of the Igus bushes Ultracrepidarian?

they just tap in, easier to change than bearings.

Drilling the Hemlock should be very similar to drilling a Turner. Stay away from welds and don’t go too close to the BB area:

Disappointed to hear that Last won’t have the next batch of Fast Forward frames for at least 6months, not sure if I want to wait that long.

And finally had enough of the abysmal excuse for a tyre that is the Maxxis Rambler on the CX bike, and awaiting delivery of a 45c Riddler.
