Cheers, will do. Do you by any chance know if it was the same fork that was originally on the swift, hummingbird and gryphon.

And if you want a big mountain day you can do Ben Wyvis in a loop from the campsite. Will try and get you a gpx.

Been very mild in the evenings, the only camping essential you have to remember to pack is single malt.

I rode a loop from Dingwall today and passed a bunch of the mid pack riders between Croick and Garve. It was pretty dreich most of the day but almost everyone seemed in good spirits. I tried to get photos of everyone that went by. Gloves and cameraphone means some arent great quality but if anyone wants to tag them or repost them anywhere then feel free.

    Try Andy at Eastside bikes.
If you are planning on crossing a continent or two my advice (from someone who has) would be to learn how to do it yourself.

epicyclo, how do you rate these rims by the way. Ive just got a pug frame and been looking at the option of the cruiser rims from classic cycles in germany and drilling them myself.

The Johnstone guys look like they have specific grass court polo bikes where the seat is really far back almost over the rear wheel, fixed no brakes also. In Edinburgh we play on a hard court with any old beaters we can find, usually stuff rescued from skips or retired from normal duties. You can play on any bike you like but collisions and breakages are common. A frame you don’t mind bashing, one gear, one brake and a few estate agents signs for wheel covers makes for the perfect polo machine.
