As part of the money (I am thinking trillions) that Argentina (or other bidder) would pay, I would force the islanders to relocate, or take their chances under the new regime. If it’s the choice of annoying them or war, it’s pretty clear to me.

I would like to see of that trillions, billions go to the surviving veterans & families of the 1982 conflict.

As for who would win the conflict now, have we learnt nothing?

I don’t understand why we don’t sell the islands. They seem massively important to Argentina, we should sell them at a price that reflects the oil value. I mean a massively inflated price.
And a huge chunk of that should go to veterans in the forces, both those who defended them and those out doing stuff recently.

Another vote for ankar. Great battery life, build quality, sound is good and it connects quickly.

    I really enjoyed Balthazar.
    I’ll go back to it.

Legend author. He’ll live on in his work.

Kind of wishing I’d just used bottle now, I hadn’t realised it carries such a stigma 😉

Indoors on a turbo trainer would be quite a safe environment to launch an empty bidon into an imaginary crowd.

Ha, I stand by the use of bidon and am neither French nor a pro.
I’ll ignore the other category 🙂

I wouldn’t use the word at home, or even with the people I ride with.

But I secretly like it and have no shame about that, I just need to be more careful about where I use it 🙂

(@oldtalent – I don’t know but if I find out, they’re mine! Could be like used golf balls on a course if it takes off)

My use of the word bidon is getting a bit of a hammering 🙂

In my defence, I thought it would be de rigeur on a cycling forum.

Oh #@#@, I’ve done it again!

Sad news, I bought a bike from Steve shortly after he opened. I thought it looked well set for the future but yes, BPW and the changing face of XC trails can’t have helped.
Sat on the cafe terrace on a summer’s day, it felt alpine and somewhere special.

Km79, you’ve come away with a bit of French so you got something out of this:)

Thanks Kryton, I thought it would be done at some level. Everything pro seems to filter through.
I agree with you, if people are teaching their kids that, then it’s not right!

Mike- yes, it’s just conjecture at this stage.

Actually, the idea of a family member or friend with a food bag is another good idea.

I’m thinking just for effect? Another marginal gain for the pro look? 😉

I’m paying 170 quid for eight days from Verona airport. Renault Clio 4 door. I too have gone for separate excess insurance.

The child seat is my dilemma.

I can’t work out what Ryanair charge to take one with me. The price the rental companies charge is taking the pee!

Is it a Bird Cycles prototype?

Sometimes going through a red light, getting out of motorists way is the safest option.

    I do it.

Imagine if Bird got hold of this.

    Would be pretty damn exciting.

I keep hoping it’s not real though. Maybe hackers put that eagle stuff up

“Something mildly interesting to a niche minority” would have covered it better 🙂

Good bikes though, I like the look of the 120 Aeris.

If it had come out before 3pm, I’d have loved it.

    Now, I’m not so sure.

I’m fairly sure it’s an e-bike, engineered to rip up trail centre KOMs.

Ah right thanks – got you on the rear bolt through 🙂
I don’t think they’ll work, it looks like 20 on the front according to this spec I found

Current bike has the normal thin QR and pikes with a big fat QR up front.
    So rear sounds ok?

Thanks all, I have a question to the guy selling it.

In the meantime – if it helps – more pics!

How does the heart rate monitor work on these? Is it better to get one with an HR monitor built into the watch?

    Cheers Col!
You sold me the bike, built it for me and are now even providing after-sales care service 🙂

I took it to the shop for a service a while back Ian said he didn’t have the tool to tighten it. I left it for a while but I could hear it rubbing so couldn’t ignore it any longer!

Between what you told me and the online manual I am pretty sure I’ve tightened it.

    Thanks

I’m in the “garlic crusher” camp. Only because the quasi-religious devotion to crushing it with the flat blade of a knife is a bit irritating 🙂

Thank you chaps! It’s great to have these answers from you.
    Cheers.
