Well that was a nice days racing. Good fight from Tom but Simon Yates is a man possessed.

    And he’s British to boot!

Hucker, I’m still running my g3 for sale reason as you, its toughness.

I have the 8gb memory bit not an issue with these extras:

    1) sd card formatted as interna

    2) Google photos cloud, delete photos automatically through Google photos once backed up

    3) an app that cleans the cache

    I recharge it every night.

i ran it at work today and noticed it paused as it detected my old Moto g3 was running hot. That was a nice feature.

I think the USP is the overnight phone use. The boffins on the radio reckoned that phones have moved on a lot in capability to make it worthwhile.

Combine that with the observation that phones are usually on and charging overnight and doing little in that period, and it seems it does have a good reason to exist.

I hope it’s a success. Unlike most home computers, personal phones are on overnight charging so the potential is there of it captures people’s imagination.

There were a couple of boffins on the radio and they said it’s cheaper and more practical for them than renting super computer time.

Tinners that’s a good list. Cittas is good.

I’ll check out some of the other ones in your list too!

Agree with advice about avoiding chains,  they seem to do little more than take a bag out of a freezer, microwave it and charge 15 quid!

For Chinese which op mentions, my favourite is the new Riverside or the happy gathering. Both are a bit of a walk out of the centre though.

I use collections. I created a few broad ones: fiction, biography etc.

Then two special ones : read and reading

I can find the stuff I’m on now and when it’s done I put in read.

    All fits on a page.

I also have a collection called paused for stuff I didn’t want to finish but feel too guilty to put on read. I kid myself I’ll go back to that. I’m

    I’m recommending a 29er with slicks.

Now come on OP, rain it down on me 🙂

Wow! I’ll just need a VPN on for 5-6 minutes.

    Fulltime is impressive my friend.

When’s the next Spring Classic? I’m enjoying this stuff, feeling like I’m getting my 2 pounds worth of value from Eurosport too.

Caught up on the story and does seem a bit of a witch hunt.

Seems it’s all about the driving scene?

And that tarantino regrets it and has apologised.

    What’s to look at here?

If he’s done something wrong why not just let the law deal with it.

    I’m a fan, he’s a great film maker.

I like the edginess and unpredictability of his films, not often seen in the mainstream.

First 20 minutes of inglorious bastards were genius IMO, as an example.

Whatever he has got up to won’t affect my view of his films.

Well that’s just it, you can’t get a value other than a speculative one. Sure, there are a few uses for bitcoin and its ilk but no real acceptance out there. They are not really a currency.

It’s a brave person who buys against the trend right now. Maybe we are beyond Fear and now into<span style=”font-size: 0.8rem;”> Capitulation?</span>

The whole market has always been a bit crazy, none of the coins are worth anything in any meaningful sense.

I’m out, for now anyway 🙂

John McAfee has vowed to eat his penis if BTC isn’t 1mil by 2020, so there’s contrary opinions out there!

Be good if the police had some kind of training course for these incidents. Like the speed awareness course.

I know that’s fantasy land though.

Glad you are OK, and hope the police do take some kind of action.

Massively volatile market as the last couple of days have demonstrated. Best advice is to think of any money invested in crypto as gone. It’s a gamble.
Don’t put money in you can’t afford 🙂

I think the opposite of the above post, ripple is only going down.

Do either of us know for sure? No and neither does anyone else.

I love trainerroad and it’s a lot less processor heavy than its competitors. And I prefer using it.

But…I would like to see a Linux version 🙂

Would make it even easier to run on older hardware.

(Although as Bryce says it runs fine on a phone)

    Thanks all.

Dilwyn, I’ve been to Brisighella, it’s amazing.
I will probably go for this (ie Faenza). I have found a rental shop in Faenza.

I didn’t know about Pantini there. I knew about this guy, he promotes the area and Faenza a lot:

Have you ridden around there? I hired a mountain bike from Brisigella tourist office a couple of years ago, was superb. The countryside is so scenic.

The Eurosport code just worked for me. Thought that might be a useful heads-up to anyone thinking they missed the bus.

Seems too good to be true! Anyone know why they are offering this?!

Trainerroad well worth a look. You don’t get the group rides and races, but the training side is vastly better.
I’m finding it more immersive than zwift.
Watch the line, listen to music.

Yup things can change quickly, we’re in a position of strength now, so seems a good time to sell them.
I can’t see Argentina ever calming down about them, so would be better to sort it out now and get a ton of cash for them.
