How about the NS Surge. 10mm axle though. I have a 12mm axle atm & will just need to get a 10mm axle.
Super versatile frame with long or short forks, adjustable dropouts etc. short chainstays a la Stanton Slackline, Slack HA a la Pig X.

Getting a light second bike is easy. The harder part is gettig said bike that’s right for what you want it for. DH, XC, Freeride, enduro etc. or all of the above..?

What ever you do don’t remove the injector…modern diesel engines force the fuel through the injector at around 200 – 250bar ( 3700psi ) with third generation commonrail diesel injectors producing 1800 bar…26000psi…wtf..

You don’t want those pressures coming anywhere near your bodily appendages.

So remember, when cracking one off, if it falls off you’ve overdone it.

It sounds like you’ve air in the system. Re-check that all fuel-filter connections are tight, try to start with your accelerator padal firmly to the floor, for anything up to a minute. Has it started does it sound like it’s trying to? If not whilst someone cranks the engine loosen an injector ( should release with an audible crack ( I was recently told to go home and ‘ crack one off ‘ when my tdi engine was running on 3 cylinders )) ahem. Anyways loosen and see if diesel comes out. If yes pump is ok so tighten and ‘ crack another one off ‘ and crank engine. Repeat, this way any air trapped between the filter and cylinder can be released.

How heavy is what you’re trying to attach and does it need to be re-attached once detached?

My Son wants to get rid of his custom bmx. cost him around the £600 mark but would be willing to sell or swap for a DJ or Mountain-bike. Have you anything you might want to trade? can put pics and spec up if interested.

Hey Stevewhyte..how dare you ” ..shut up and pay…be grateful” you have no idea. Let me come and do some work in your house and when you question the bill I’ll tell you to shut up and be grateful that your tap no longer drips for instance.
I have 5 children and I know how to budget. Oh and btw my eldest son (17) is going with college to France for 10 days of Aboriculture ( tree-felling )…£200.

Maybe I should be especially grateful and pay more.

……..all that happens is you get tapped up for every bit of info and then when you put together something on paper all its used for is a bargaining tool with someone else..

This is so true. I often get the “we have a problem with x can you come and have a look? Or..”we’re thinking of doing/ building such an such come and have a look and tell us what you think.. “, which I do. I’ll normally say that said problem can be solved either x or by doing xx. Temporary job X will cost approx x amount or the lasting/ proper solution will cost x + x. Of this type of job I might get the job 20% of the time. I have a very good reputation of be a problem-solver as well as a competent tradesman. 80% of the time once the ‘ client ‘ is given a solution to the problem its easy enough to get a cheaper incompetent tradesman or even the husband to do the work. I have nothing but loathing and contempt for this type of person. I come around in my time using my fuel, go home and research a solution or prices for materials or phone my suppliers, write up a quote…all on my time..to be told ok we’ll think about it, maybe next year we’re going to get the windows done first or you hear nothing ( which really pisses me off )or somebody else works off of my design probably cheaper. Btw. I’ve been in the construction ‘ game ‘ for 25+ years. I bet I’ve heard every excuse out there.

Not bike related but I should of checked the safe search option when searching for a ‘ black water-butt ‘ for a clients garden.

Your going to need a minimum pitch with onduline and have to have it overhanging other wise the rain will get in under the corregations. You’ll also have to come up with something to stop the rain running along the underside of the corregations. Onduline + dual pitch = good, Single pitch = Bad.

So the distance left and right of said man cave to boundry will be 350mm & 500mm to the rear?

    tymbian
    Free Member

How big is your garden? 2.5m is the max height allowed within 2m of the boundry. Otherwise Max height can be 4m ( dual pitched roof, 3m for a single pitch ) but no higher than 2.5m at the eaves

A 3m or 4m roof height will give you a lot more headroom, will be a lot cheaper to construct and easier to weatherproof. At a guess a flat roof will be twice the cost of a pitched roof and built by someone with more than basic DIY skills. Dont underestimate the weight of snow even if you are in london it would be a shame if after it’s built London gets the brunt of the bad weather the following year. Use a construction grade timber for the roof ie. C24 ( dry-graded ).

A hardwood cladding would be best for longevity as would a raised floor allowing the air to flow underneath will prevent rotting.

What sort of money are you going to throw at this?

And on another note why would PayPal tell you to pay someone via Western Union ( which is by the way untraceable once collected )?

There were cases a few years back when people from abroad were buying cars and paying per bankers draft but the check was made out for more than the purchase price with the instruction for the seller to pay the shipping company who will come to collect the vehicle the freight costs…lets say £2000- 3000..
So bankers draft paid in….sellers account credited…shippers collect vehicle and money….bankers draft gets sent to where it gets sent…low and behold the bankers draft is a v.good forgery…sellers account gets debited and seller is down his vehicle and his own £3000.

IMO 5 10s are that good I have no need to look further. I’ve been using the hi’s for about 3 yrs doing everything from xc, downhill to bmx racing on them. Excellent padding and ankle support, you might find them a bit bulky at first.
