They have some interesting new frames on the way for 2013, I’m liking the geo on their long travel, steel AM 26. Low bb, dropper post compatible etc…

Take yourself over to the BMXTALK for sale forum. Its mostly race bmx stuff but you’ll find the right size framewith correct size stem, crank arms ( Probs 155mm ), bar width and rise etc. etc. etc. and it will be a manageable weight for her. My now 11 year old started on a decathlon bmx when he was 7. 155 cranks, 20 x 1 1/8th tyres….imo was the perfect starter bike.

last year I had to go into town and parked in a car-park situated behind some empty offices. the car-park was empty which made me a little suspicious so upon leaving my car i looked all around for any notices of private car-park to find nothing. Upon walking away I looked back at the way I’d driven in and there was no sign. I went about my business and 30 mins later and came back to a clamped car. I phoned the number stuck to my windscreen and a bloke drove up 10 mins later and said he’d release my car for £135..what the….? I thought he was having a laugh and told him so, told him I had no money with me so he got in his van drove off with the message to call him when I had the money…

The Car-parks other entrance is right next door to a police-station so, absolutely livid I went in and explained what had happened. They said there was nothing they could do about it as no crime has been committed..I said there must be something Fraud, embezzlement or even trespass of property!! I basically got laughed at with a sorry we can’t help you, please shut the door on the way out.

Upon walking back to my car through the second entrance there was a sign 3 meters off the floor, approx 300mm High by 900mm long …small writing…Private car-park. couldnt believe it. Made my Wife cry that also as I had to pay so as to collect kids from school. Wish the police had advised me proper…

I spent 13 years in Germany and never came across anyone who denied the holocaust although everyone was aware that there were those that lived in denial.

Genocide & mass-murder has been present all through history.. The largest genocide being the near extinction of Native Americans, yes ladies and gentlemen the Red Indians (in both North and South America) and the 2nd largest being the Jewish Holocaust in WWII with people like Stalin, hitler, Pol Pot, Mao being some of the most recent large-scale murderers with Rwanda and the former Yugoslavia being two of of the most recent places where atrocities have shocked.

Don’t even get me started on the religious based mass murders of the Catholic sanctioned Spanish Inquisition, or thecrusades of the Templar knights

Don’t think they use Silverline tools for the strip-down between runs though…funny that.

Starter clicks. Will check lights tomorrow as had to get a garage to fit the starter-motor..£50 ffs ( 1 hour labour )

When I tried to bump start it ( on the first day it wouldn’t start ) down a slight hill it didn’t even ‘ kangeroo ‘ when not starting it stopped straight away as soon as the clutch was let out which led me to believe that it might be siezed..so before I replaced the starter-motor I gave it a sleight tow ( 4 meters or so ) in 5th gear it rolled so I thought not siezed and thus fitted said starter.

And Stuarty I connected via jump-leads my pickup to OHs’ Corsa to no avail when starting so ruled out battery..was this right?

So the new starter-motor is still not turning the engine so I’m thinking siezed engine although I drove it home and went to start it the following day hence changing the starter. So now the question is what to do….remove sparkplugs spray in wd40??

… If so, can some explain how we have managed numerous lunar missions, with spacecraft travelling at thousands of miles per hour, but without being struck by any of these rocks?

Because there are no asteroids flying around the hangars at Area 51.

FWIW I was also contemplating the Pig X after reading all the reviews,it seemed to tick all the boxes….apart Rom chainstay length. I wanted a flicky, easy to manual, trail bike ( hardcore ish ). Because of the chainstay length then started to look at the Stanton Slackline….short chainstay but head angle to steep…decision falls then to NS Surge, adjustable c-stays, low bb, steel, slack, works with different length forks,…or the Shan whichticks all the boxes but its built sspecifically with gravity enduro in mind..ie built for 160mm forks. Check the bb on the Shan as if I remember correctly it has a wierd bb sizing so check compatible cranks and the cost of them. Best looking bike out there atm imo. I just can’t afford one though hence I’ll be going for the Surge.

    @ siezednuts

I can’t see the nut to put the extension on and can’t get my hand in to feel for it. Should I take the offside wheel off and use a 1meter extension? Surely not.

Did you pay by card? Let them deal with it. Frame is not fit for purpose. Send it back, get your money back, and claim damages to the tune the of tax paid + any costs incurred.

Feeling your pain bro & hope you get it sorted.

Have to say it again, NS Surge.Adj chainstay length, low bb, Steel. ( ok, 27.2 post and normal 1.125″ headset is not what you’re after )
