My phone updates automatically. Why don’t you set a back-up alarm?

Can you get 12mm Maxle drop-outs for it?

Not done it but don’t go with the grain, Probs around 30 – 40 degrees, and at least 2 different grits but not less tha 100 grit with the first, not less than 180 with the final sand.

That’s the principle anyway. By Sand-glider do you mean something like a large pushable belt-sander?

Why are you Sanding? Just for cosmetic reasons or is there a residue or glue of some sort you need to get rid of?

What size frame did you get. I’m thinking of a small ( I’m 510 ) as I’d like it responsive. What, and I don’t want to sound rude, do you weigh as I’ve read lighter peeps don’t get on with the Bfe rear being so unforgiving.

Your dropper weighs over 1lb. Your Nevegals, what do they weigh?

@ fooflaps…or joists even….joints are what you need to smoke to get rafters and joists confused.

I saw this photo of the Bfe yesterday.

    http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/8080887/#top

Are they 160mm forks cause that looks really slack.I’ve seen pics of the Bfe with 160’s before and it don’t look like that.

The reason I ask is because I currently run the SRAM XO 9 speed redwin mech and XO shifter.
And would like to fit a Bionicon v2 type chain-device and think that it won’t work properly with a long mech. Does any one have any thoughts or experienes?

Check your rear-wheel spacing. Its probably 135mm.

I bought a wheel-set from Superstar, two years in, no problems. And I’m a fat **cker. Alex rims ( Nukeproof ) Switch hubs. I’d Defo go with them again if I was on a budget.

I’m guessing but chipboard weight approx..a figure of 0.7t kg/m2 (where t = thickness in millimeters) for C5 grade. This makes a standard sheet come out at 25kg

    0.7t kg/m2 is say 10mm chipboard x .7kg = 7kg/m2 which is no weight at all. What are your joists a 6 x 2 @ 16 inch centers?

Hell, I’ll even build you a shed for you bike.

My shed is on a timber post base. When building the shed I passed thick chain underneath the post and back through the floor into what would be the inside of the shed. This is my security chain for the bike.
Mc Hamish…That’s an awful lot of concrete for bike security. If a would-be thief can’t get your bike from the chain chances are he’ll cut through the frame and have your parts on eBay before you get home .

No worries CG ( light goes out ). Maybe you could share what you’re going to do for some positive support.

These things always turn out for the best. I was thinking about doing some work at the RSPCA..

    Get yourself some chocolate.. :D

CG – if I’m correct you had a very nice man drive you over to Brechfa in his white pick-up. You remember, ex-smoker, couldn’t catch you on the ups.

    How did your volunteering go?

Of course, you’re right Footflaps. In the grand scheme of things best none of us bother.

You could start petitioning the government to stop all the carbon emission reducing programme they have in place because it just not worth bothering. Flying abroad this year? Why not go twice a year..and encourage those that know you to do the same.

Would you want your kids growing up next to a busy emission filled road junction or in the country somewhere?

I think DMR do a complete kit. Gusset do a ” double six ” single speed converter and a seperate tensioner. Fire eye do a nice tensioner.

You won’t do it for buttons but £30 should see you right. A rear kit will consist of spacers & a tensioner. You can get cheaper ones but as to whether they last as long or are as good I’m sure someone will be along soon to tell you.

I take it you have a cassette rear hub?
