Sand ( building )/ cement 4:1 not too wet but not too dry ( just right basically 😀 ) better wettish. IMPORTANT..Make sure the underside of the slabs are dust free. Put some frost proofer in the mix. ( based on you living in a winter climate )

one jumps bmx style doubles on a bmx made for that style of riding not a LTHT. You probably won’t, however, win any bmx races on those bmx bikes you’ll need a bmx that has a race spec. You also won’t succesfully jump jumps made for a LTHT on a BMX. It’s all horses for courses.. If these bmx, 4x riders wanted a day in the mountains and had a choice of a BMX, a stiff as **** framed 80 – 100mm hardtail with a steep head-angle, or a LTHT I’m pretty sure they would choose the latter.

I have ( prefer ) my BFe at 160. It’s a hoot..I laugh when I point it downhill. If this makes me poor I guess I’ll always be richer than you!

I’ve 160mm Bombers with 20mm Maxle on my BFe and love it. I can wind my forks down to about the 140mm mark but dont bother they’re fine as they are. I do run/ recommend a dropper post though. I’m running a 1 x 9 setup with a 32 up front. If you’ve the chance to go 1 x 10 or even 1 x 11 I would. If going 1 x 10 then get a narrow/ wide chainring. I’m 5 10, 95kgs ride a medium frame, 50mm stem, 780mm bars and have a blast.

Buy yourself another present with the Money you’ve put aside for her present. Next year she’ll be more specific.
