@ useless hippy…along these lines i met a chap in Greifswald ( former east Germany ) who was telling me about only being able to listen to ‘ western music ‘ underground and had to be very careful of the Stasi ( secret police ). Western music could only be bought on the black-market….etc etc. You get the picture.
Any way, he showed me the homemade tattoo, on his arm, of his favorite band….Iorn Maiden.

I let me make this clear…I DONT WANT TO DO SHORTCUTS…i was just wondering how the whole thing works..ie.riding a leisurely 40k with some timed sections or whether you go from timed section to timed sections via different routes..

Upon spotting a rather large puddle of water in front of a bus-stop i found myself unable to do anything other than speed up and aim for it. This resulted in the bus-stop and its occupants being obscured from sight by a massive wall of water.

I’ll take this oppertunity to apologise to all affected. ( I feel a great weight lifted ).

It was in Germany though so not as bad…mwah hah hah…

I was looking in the PB classifieds at a 142 and did a search for a review and came across Summit to sea selling the Ariel 142 @ £1324 and the 161 for £1299. seemed like a bargain to me..

Thr Circus is designed to be a jump fork afaik so is stiffer. Mine could be adjusted via an air valve but they rode better being set up on the stiffer side to prevent excess ‘ diving ‘.

I had some on a hardtail and found them fine. They are quite a stiff fork iirc but i bought them because of the price and because I’m of above average weight they were quite supple when used for trail riding. If you’re below average weight you might find them a harsh/ unforgiving ride.

????? will a medium cage work fir sure on a 42t works and the suchlike? I wanted to know the answer to this and read somewhere yesterday that a long cage is required..dont mind being proven wrong though.

Im also curious as to when these are coming and will a short cage mech cope with the length of chain thats needed? Bit of a threadjack, sorry.
