Lower the bottom shelf and run the skirting along the front so the top of skirting is level with the top of first shelf. Then space from here on up.

What boxelder said. Chances are once a bit of elbow-grease has been applied and you remove one piece of parquet with possibly a chisel the rest might lift easy…or not. Might be a pig of a job but it’s the right way forward.

I was unimpressed with the Burgers ( Jessie Smiths. . designer? ) at the Lakeside…other than that great setting, beer was cold & the staff polite..

doesn’t the x signify a frame only option? therefore geo would depend on what forks you plug in.

I’m not really interested in the ability to have a map on the screen. I’d like to be able to record a ride and then upload the data when home. Also if I’m out in the wilderness somewhere I’d like to call up the coordinates to see where I’m at in conjunction with an os map. Is it possible to call up the coordinates on the fenix 3?

As said above. There really is some sage advice in this thread and I’d like to thank all who have answered and an especially big thanks for those in the know that have taken time out to contact me directly. On the whole I think Singletrack forum members are a massive caring family..

@ sadexpunk I remember reading you post and thinking about our own situation at the time.
I’m glad that things have sort of worked out for you and you haven’t lost your sons altogether.

I’m sort of leaning towards telling my son to plead not guilty to buy some time so we can get some advice..if there was a way to buy some time without have to offer a plea then I’d use it..( the ramblings of a desperate father that doesn’t know what to do for the best. I know it’s not detention..

I know that detention isn’t the right thing for him. He’s to go to court on Wednesday and everything seem to be taken out of our control. We haven’t had a letter telling us he’s going to court..he’s 17 and we haven’t signed over parental rights to social services.

Thanks for the supportive replies. I’d like to add that the first few weeks of his bail conditions meant he wasn’t allowed to have any contact with me but was speaking to his mother a lot and was genuinely remorseful and upset about what he’d done. When we did meet up there were a lot of apologies, hugs and tears. Signing our son over to the authorities was the hardest thing we’ve had to do. We couldn’t help our son any more and we’re hoping he would be sectioned and mentally evaluated. He’s now in care and 30 miles away from his circle of ‘friends’ which is what was needed.

Cougar..if you were to meet my son you would find him extremely polite and we’ll mannered..not you typical thug, Chav, theif reprobate so was very surprised at the speed you judged…I’ll pas on your offer thanks.

@ Hora…I can’t drop the charges, the CPS are charging..it’s out of my hands.

Chapaking. .it has been mentioned that his drug use may of been a form of self medicating.

Breathe.. I’d like to accept your offer..

Alarm bells would be sounding for me.. I’ve been self employed for almost 30 years and have done contracting. A lot of companies like to pay when they’ve been paid but it doesn’t change the fact that legally the company has to have the funds to pay you at the time of asking you to do the work. Personally I’d have to be getting double my normal rate to wait that long fir an invoice to be paid.
Speak to them first though and explain that it’s not on. If the payments start getting later and later or even not paid in full start the process of jumping ship.

pressure washer will be ok but turn the pressure down or don’t hold too close. Use the pressure washer as if you were spraying paint..ie. spray whilst moving, release trigger (stop spraying), change direction, squeeze trigger. this will give you an even clean. You could use a decking cleaner, brush on (yard brush) then wash off as above.
Osmo slip resistant decking oil is fantastic stuff. Stir well and apply. it’s got like very small grains of sand in the oil so that when dry the deck surface feels a bit like a fine sand-paper and is non slip. (obviously not when covered with snow & ice in winter).

Osmo decking oils or stains..Natural product and allows the wood to ‘breath’….

How old is your decking? if you haven’t bought it yet I’d wait for the rationalisation to die down/ weather out before oiling…

2.4 Ardent front until I discovered the Magic Mary. The Ardent isn’t a fan on Mud…or sand, or Loam, or grass.. I couldn’t get on with the Butcher front. Purgatory rear is a good choice. I’ve just put a Slaughter on the rear & with only one outing under its belt it’s too early to tell.

yes it feels as if the side knobs are rolling over. .I’m on the 29″ grid version. ZForest of Dean wad as good a place as any for its maiden voyage. I feel as though the side knobs could do with being a tad shorter as even on hardback they’re gonna squirm/ deform.
