I have a lwb high-top Mercedes Spinter which I use for mtb trips so I’d really have nowhere to put a hard-shell kayak/canoe hence thinking of an easy stowable inflatable type.. I can see how it could be hard work in the wind.

I recently had a shoulder x-ray and the chap that did it was (in the adjoining room) staring and pointing at the screen and a nurse joined him to take a look. They carried on discussing something and called another nurse over. They showed her something on the screen. When you say impaired movement how impaired? With mine at the moment I can’t touch the top of my head as my elbow won’t go high enough. How much movement did you have before the op? I had to cancel a planned Morzine trip this year as I can’t get back far enough on the bike for downhill.
