    Tim I've just bought one and am delighted with it!!!

    It's called a Fairclough Sky 12 string electro acoustic with away (optional) and cost me £350

    Spec below and if you go for the electro acoustic it has a Fishman pre-amp with tuner built in – Fishman are the best pre-amps you can get.

    * Seasoned solid spruce top
    * Rosewood back and sides
    * High grade mahogany neck
    * High geared gold and ebonite machine heads
    * Maple body bindings
    * Bone nut and saddle
    * Mother of pearl inlays
    * Rosewood rosette headstock and truss rod cover
    * Dove tail joint
    * Electro Acoustic models with Fishman pickups

    It's absolutely wonderful, the degree of build and craftmanship is superb.

    I would highly recommend one.

    Junkyard – I thought I'd answered your quotation re Jesus and the mention of a sword…

    From my humble understanding this is just referring to the fact that whenever someone decides to follow Jesus and become a Christian don't assume all will be plain sailing. Being a Christian is not a soft option or a cushy number – indeed many have been thrown out of their families and even faced the threat of death by them (especially if they were Muslim).

    mt – so long as it's not a race question then I think that potentially he might have concerning our current values and freedoms. As to the reality, then maybe only time will tell.

    My worry is that he will meet an untimely end due to assassination.

    he has not discussed race, only religion

    I think this point often gets confused on this site for some reason

    Junkyard – just re-read your post and quote from the Gospel of Matthew.

    Junkyard, sincere Christians would in no way wish any harm to you or anyone. God's commandment is to love one another.

    How many Muslim countries destroyed by "Christian" countries?

    I wonder why they are a bit cross TJ

    I think it's more a case of intolerance and fundamentalism that people are fearing with extreme Islam as a religion – rightly or wrongly.

    I will always denounce Fascists and Nazis. Of that, you can always be certain.

    – hopefully so would everyone else.

    Do you think that the perceived threat (rightly or wrongly) to our current Western freedom is where he's really coming from?

    Absolutely, and I don't seek to excuse the excesses of Islamic states. My point was just to highlight that this discussion would be dismissed as anti-semitism if the subject was Israel.

    surfer – so how does the above statement make any sense?

    But surely anti-semitism is hatred towards the Jews (as in race of people) not Judaism?

    I may be wrong but I don't think that's the same parallel as what Mr Wilders is saying about the religion of Islam – is it?

    (On a separate topic: if the Nazis invaded Holland, how would you tell?)

    – not a helpful comment!

    My wife is Dutch and as such I have many friends and relations in Holland and like everywhere you get some and some but I'd say that on the whole they are a very friendly, polite nation of people.

    Britain isn't an "Islamic country".

    – true, but I think what he's concerned about is the apparent reluctance to integrate to the culture and the apparent hostility that Islam has.

    John, my dad passed away in April and I was shocked by the force of my grief, I just couldn't stop crying. Sometimes we mourn more for what we didn't have.

    Mark, I don't know if you have any Faith but my family are praying for you. My wife had cancer twice, went through radio and chemo, had major surgery and a bad prognosis but she's still with us and treasures each day, back to normal a far as the world can tell.
    I'm sure it's been said but don't give up – ever.

    Israel will not attack Iran for the same reasons, plus of course the Israeli military got it's arse well and truly kicked by Iranian backed Hizbollah, the idea that Israel is the regional power is out of date.

    I wouldn't be too sure of that.

    Mr Woppitt, if I thought for one minute you were seriously interested I'd happily provide you with an answer but all you do is mock and ridicule what is precious to me and seem to be without a grain of respect for anyone – including yourself, which I think is very sad, so I shall just keep praying for you.

    pinches – yes in effect but I did some research first e.g. find the MD's name (always go as high up as you can because you are more likely to get a response if it comes from the top down) finding out how they format their email (so you can work out the MD's direct email). On the email subject line just put FAO MD's name. Avoid HR like the plague as they have the power to say "No" but not the power to say "Yes"!!! Find something topical about the company that they might be either struggling with or having success with – remember, people are employed to solve a company problem etc.

    That sort of thing as opposed to just ringing up and asking if they have any vacancies.
