It really annoys me that they have what’s called a “break” a break from what? They are on a holiday. A permanent holiday compared to the rest of us!

Try the Isle of Bute. Cheaper ferry. Lots of places to park overnight.

AC grade 4 separation here. Hit a submerged kerb.

Had to push to have the opperation and get it tied back down. Was told that if I left it as it was, (with a massive lump on my shoulder) it would give me problems as I got older.

Was on my bike two weeks after opperation. No issues 1 1/2 years later. Fabulous NHS @ Durham

Greggs do a neat cup. Fits in the car cup holder and iirc you get a discount when you use it….

It’s quite some way from down to gunjur from Farafenni. He would have to get a bus down to Brikama then over to Gunjur. I’m staying at the Gunjur Project Lodge. (A great place if you are ever planning to vist Gambia)

Hi, I visit Gambia 2/3 times a year. Involved in taking groups of school kids and adult groups to do voluntary work in schools and community projects. We stay in gunjur near the senagal border.

I’m going back in early April, posting is a nightmare and unsecure. Where does the lad live? I might be able to take them with me. Or get some cash to him so he can buy some in Gambia.

And at more or less the same time £9,000,000 lotto heritage awarded to ,Auckland Castle to create a museum to house priests robes and similar crap!! Don’t get me started on what that money could have been spent on!!

I did the same 7 years ago. NTS is certainly a good school. We rented for a year or so until the right house came up. The closer you are to the national park the more cash you will pay, until it becomes ridiculously expensive. Lots of nice villages close to Wigton. Might want to consider the bus routes, will be handy as your kids get older. You will be a taxi!
Measgate is ok, watch out for proximity to the A595, it’s a seriously busy road, the noise travels a long way. Let me know if you want any more info……

Thanks guys, I’m going to cut it all up and store it in a brick outhouse, its dry. I’ll just fetch in enough to burn and not have it sitting next to the burner. I’m a bit paranoid as our house is old school house full of old sanded floorboards…

I went to the doctors last thursday with my father, he’s 84. The doctor was looking at the MRI scan and kept saying it was ‘vera te’

It was a while befor it clicked – ‘vera te’ = wear and tear.

Hi ive done quite a few of the trails near Orlando. If you only do 1 ride I suggest you do the Van Fleet trail. Its an old railway line and is about 20 miles long with only 1 bend. Its not boring, massive spiders, snakes and loads of tortoises wandering across the path. Its really safe tho.

If you want bike info the Van Fleet trail has a website. The Orange Cycles store near Orlando has good local info too. I think they do bike hire, you could always email them.
