I now send parcels through Collect+ however if you plan on sending 20 odd parcels a day you would need to see if the outlet/shop are happy with taking that many in. My local Collect+ (Spar) hate having parcels knocking about.

I was using lemsip max strength capsules. Nothing get’s rid, just eases it a bit.

I’ve always used Parcel Force. Never had an issue with them. Pack it and label it well.

Did the fart hurt? They come out with quite some pressure if you sneeze at the same time. A good quality ripper.

It’s funny. I was getting my deck built by a bloke that was recommended to me by the local timber yard. One morning the postie saw him and asked if that was (insert name) and I said yeah it was. Postie told me that this fella did time inside for stealing mail. He seemed ok but it proves that it goes on.

This all stinks. The ebay seller is offering RM services on the listings.

    +1 for watchdog!

To be fair I’ve never had an issue with RM however all this has made me think about what I’m posting with them.

So, what happens if you send a whole bike that has forks, shock & possibly reverb fitted? Could it get binned?

Interesting read, and for once the OP isn’t getting a flaming 😆

I have shared this on various forums and on a couple of FB pages to spread the word.

Everything I would like to say has been said but I will be keeping a close eye on this thread to see how you get on. I hope you get it sorted. Best of luck.

Yeah, go it too. 4 Days in and it aint shifting. I’ve just finished for 3 weeks off work and this first week I don’t have my daughter. It’s typical, whenever I’m off and have a week to myself I’m either ill or the weathers stinking.

I have a local ride that the trail goes through a farm yard, it is a public right of way but there’s a couple of collies there that are quite aggressive and nip at you. My missus got bit but it wasn’t anything serious, just a scratch. I told her to report it but she didn’t bother.

I have found that if I dismount and walk the bike through they are not as bad.

Saved me £650 for a new bike. All that cost me about £80. 8)

I wouldn’t ride it. Last thing you want is for it to go and that tube go straight through your sack. 😯

Mate, you have some talent. That is a cracking job, I wish I had the resources to do this.

If you do a run I will have one depending on price.

I like the look of that but not sure about that bolt that between the 2 seatstays behind the seat tube, didnt look like it gives much tyre clearance.

Never tip the binmen but do tip the postie.

He’s a cracking fella and know’s I get a few parcels delivered so stashes them in an out of sight place. Always have a good chat and a laugh with him.

I have in the past dropped off a selection of beers at my LBS, I think I forgot last year but will this year.

Depends on budget but the Islabikes Creig 24 is a nice ride. I went down at the weekend to get my daughter fitted but it was a tad too big for her.

Sold my 3 guns and handed my licence in a few years ago now. Used to enjoy the shoots, clays and even kept my own ducks and pheasants.

You do need a fat bike. They’re not that heave and they’re not that slow.

You don’t need to live near a beach, they are pretty handy on the trails. I have found that my fitness has improved, especially on the hills since riding my fatty non stop!

I have the above Dyson, mounts on the wall for charging and it’s brilliant for a quick whip round. We have a large oak floor and it doeas the job a treat. Handy for the car too. Binned the large upright ages ago and not looked back.

Thanks for the replies. She did her 1st off road ride over the weeekend and the stock tyres struggled in the mud. Made it a bit twitchy for her.
