the fact that i’ve not actually done any work today and no-one seems to mind 🙂

(actually, that’s not strictly true, I’ve helped someone else out with a non-work website, using the company’s equipment, and still no-one seems to mind)

oh and the holidays and flexi-time

and the fact that i can ride my bike round the store room like a big kid 😀

if there’s no red flag you may just get some cadets running past you up the side of the hill (top tip: chasing them up the hill with a bike on your back is good training for the 3 peaks cyclocross…)

am planning on writing something for on-one, when some inspiration appears.

was bloody good fun i thought – the course was at it’s best (less annoying stodge, more swoopiness, still the nice techy sections, no stupid sheet ice)*

the marshalls around the course were brilliant, god knows how they stayed so cheerful and helpful stood around in that weather!

*actually, i’m a bit annoyed about there being no ice as i’d bought studded tyre especially

i’ve been quite impressed with the puncture resistancenuss of schwalbe land cruisers – got them for the 3 peaks, they’re quite quick rolling but have enough grip for most off roady stuff too

cheap as well, but a bit weighty, i guess you can’t have everything!

well I’m taking a big tent anyway :-), but yes, it will be close – crossed guy lines and all that…

if it’s the same as it was in ’07 (i’m pretty sure it will be) there’ll be “just about enough” room next to the course (and around the car park) at torachilty wood to set up tents…but it’ll be crampt to say the least

i think a lot of the organisation is “suck it and see” this time…
