Forget the words, it doesn’t matter what someone says if they use the rising inflection. My judgemental self rushes forward and diverts all content straight through and out without passing go, getting any money or attention from my grey matter.

I read this with an Ozzie accent – I couldn’t help it, sorry.

Showing some skills there Sazter, coming on a treat!
Just last week I fitted the very same propex in mine, all up and running now but not tested this weekend as it was too warm!
Have you sealed around the heater inlet and exhaust holes underneath? Doesn’t say to do this in the instructions but I’m concerned that the exhaust gasses are going to find their way in and get blown through the heater and into the van. I’m probably over thinking it but whats your thoughts?

Oh and definitely paint the ceiling 🙂

Gaahhh! £375 on a van heater. Red wine made me do it. GAAHHH!

Perhaps its redundant or has a convoluted route to your meter?
Keep digging to expose its full length? (fnarrr)

I used it just last week for the first time and I can confirm that it is pretty shite. Any trade paint from a trade centre is head and shoulders above diy store paints.
Armstead/Glidden is decent as is Leyland which is my go to paint nowadays. I’m a decorator.

Painting on old paste causes the paint surface to eventually split and will continue to split every time it’s painted, it may or may not be noticable depending on how well you wash it down. So if you’re a gambling man or not too fussy get walloping – otherwise line it 🙂

Is the new paint waterbased? It might be sissing on grease on previous paintwork, wouldn’t describe it as blisters though…

    twang

Sounds like incompatible paint with what’s already on but its very unusual for this to cause blistering. Are the blisters in the old paint or just the new?

Oil paints go yellow quicker when they’re not exposed to light, which is what you’ve got behind your plaque. Nothing you can do but repaint.

    Standing room.
A van that you cant stand upright in is just a very big boot.

Up to Hollins cross, a good challenging climb and over the other side down to Castleton, up broken road to Mam nick and down toboggan run or traverse back to Hollins and back down the way you came, short and sweet…or what Gary Lager said.

‘yikes’ + link = crossposting = spam. IMHO

    TOGTFO

you surely have something better to offer than just ‘yikes’ – or were you rushing to post the link before someone else did resulting in a second rate thread that is closed early under duplication.

    What a dickish post

Good for sloping sites and keeping the bugs off but your arse will freeze even in summer so an under quilt is essential.

Ben Dampf circuit. Too much bog slogging and the only flowy bit is when you hit the trees 500mtrs from the end.

    Edit – and Wales.

If it doesn’t wash off with water then hanging lining paper on it is the way to go – probably not what you wanted to hear.

    1. Clear as much out of room as possible and move all furniture into middle so you’ve got a good working space all the way around.
    2. Sheet everything down, all exposed flooring and furniture, everything.
    3. Fill. Cracks and holes in ceiling and walls (powder filler or lightweight tub filler ie red devil) Cracks in corners fill with caulk (ie tops of skirting, ceiling and wall junction etc)
    4. Kettle on.
    5. Get ceiling paint out and ready (poured in roller scuttle, 3″ brush and roller on a pole at the ready. Drink tea.
    6. Cut in ceiling ( around the edges approx 3″ wide, don’t forget the light)
    7. Wall paint out (2 paint scuttles helps here) Cut in lower walls (tops of skirting, up door frames, up corners of walls etc)
    8. Roll ceiling.
    9. Cut in tops of walls (if ceiling cutting in is dry)
    10. Roll walls.
    11. Tea.
    12. Repeat 6 to 10.
    13. Acrylic undercoat woodwork.
    14. Tea.
    15. Gloss/satinwood woodwork.
    16. You’re done (don’t dust until woodworks dry!)

Free of charge that lot…welcome to my humble world 🙂

    Ladder.
Don’t over stretch trying to do it in one shift.
If your windows are tall and you’re struggling to reach the tops, a ladder stay, which pushes you away from the wall helps. Put it a couple of rungs down so you have the top of the ladder to hold..if that makes sense?

    How’s about..

Excuse the thoroughly pissed off looking lass, I dragged my sister out on this ride with promises of sweet singletrack and cake. Nirvana was a hill too far for her so she stashed her bike in the undergrowth and walked it. She didn’t even make the cake… poof!

Esme’s looks like your neck of the woods Farmer, Langorse way? Might leave that one with you 🙂

Is there a name for the studying of pics and working out the position from where it was taken?
So Mr Welshfarmer, I reckon you took that picture from somewhere east of Llanthony in the vale of Ewyas.

I dread the day I have to replace my ’10 07 Five. But with a 1 1/8″ steerer I think it’ll happen next year. Other than limited fork choice I can’t fault it.

    Amen bro…
