Looking very nice indeed. Like the idea of carpeting the wall panels separately instead of all in one, looks a bit more pro, how are you fixing them?

I like the premium bond idea, I didn’t know they were still a thing, may be worth a dabble if it’s instant access. Will have a look later.
    Thanks for replies 🙂

High roof Vivaro or transit custom? Not too big for everyday driver but plenty big enough for a kitchen and r & r bed. Not many about though. Old shape medium height transits aren’t quite high enough to stand up in.

The usual give aways on the pics are doors that appear double the width of standard ones and four foot wide washing machines.

…and the photographers ears on either side of the pic. 😀

It’s most likely the moisture that’s softened the paint. Let it dry and go brittle, scrape of all the loose, attacking it from different angles. Don’t try and rub the edges down as you would on car paint, it’ll make it peel, just a light rub all over and then, if you’re not lining, a coat of thin ish emulsion. Fill all the uneven bits with a wide joint filling blade and easyfil. Rub, paint and wait for it to crozzle* because you haven’t lined 🙂

*you might get lucky depending on how much paste is left on the wall.

Cheers hammy, a possibility… though not sure how easy it would be to work with if I needed to join two bits together? Perhaps cut in a T shape, like a thong and the ends bolted to door – what I need are some massive pants.. 😀

I stuck a Works one on my 5 last year. Does the job but not that impressed with the quality particularly the top seal which to me seems too small and only just covers the bearings.

I reckon those cheapo Merino socks off eBay would be OK for a liner. I received some today and they are very thin, not sure of the wool content either tbh but £7 for 6 pairs!
Edit; Ulvang Merino socks (can’t do link from my phone)

Oh and don’t bother washing it out just bag it up( unless changing colour…)
Washing it in the bath still attached to the pole makes it a doddle – wait until your missus int in tho…

Assuming by clever roller you mean one that pumps paint to the sleeve, its a gimmick for diyers who struggle loading a roller evenly.
Id recommend, if you’ve got big areas to cover, a 12″ long pile woven type of sleeve on a double arm and a sturdy extending screw n pole (steady now) avoiding Dulux Dec centre if possible as there tools are a bit shit.

I had a go at waterproofing a pair of impacts, I gave em a liberal coating of wax cotton proofing(all I had to hand), it may have helped a bit but probably not.
A tube of clear silicone and a spreader – its the only way to be sure… if you’re brave enough to try…

I had some Salomon insulated boots resoled with dotty stealth rubber for winter duties and they are super toasty, too warm for most of winter if I’m honest but
any decent pair of gortex boots resoled would work a treat.

If you insulate externally, doesn’t that leave a massive thermal bridge where the walls sit on the foundations? Fighting a loosing battle trying to heat that lot up surely?
