    Scrape the loose off. Fill it with a wide, flexible, filling knife or a plasterers trowel, not a small, stiff scraper. The best tool to use, if you can get one is a dry-liners metal bladed spatular, which is basically a 10″ wide filling knife. Dont over fill it, press on hard and fill it flush, you want minimal rubbing down. Let it set and repeat on the deep stuff if needed. Best stuff to use is easifil, available from B&Q for about £12. (get a clean bucket to mix it in while you’re there!)
    There ya go, piece a p1ss!

    Cut gate’s a fantastic ride, its difficult though, to join it to other ladybower rides without lots of road miles.
    Whinstone lee is a great descent, heading north west to ladybower, as is lockerbrook. But lots of boring stuff inbetween if you’re doing them in one ride!

    should be the other way round. fatter up front for more steering control

    Does a fatter front give you more steering control? When I run narrow tyres, the steering feels quicker, drops into corners easier.

    Got mine from TF, said it was an improved version on the standard seals.

    The foam ring and the bottom seal (black one in pic) go in the groove where the original, wider foam ring was. Or in other words, lower black seal in first, then foam, then outer wiper seal.
    EDIT: I think!

    If you say ‘t’ instead of ‘the’ then you’re from t’north.
    If you say ‘ap’ instead of ‘up’ then you’re from the ‘saaaaaaf aint ya’.
    If you just talk normal then you’re from the midlands….done! (apart from brummies..!)

    Right, gonna jump straight in here with a blatant sell;
    I have a new pair of roclite 390 gtx, size 8, that I have no use for.
    I have worn them for driving and a walk to the shop when I first got them(as you do!) so they are in perfect, as new condition. They cost me £100, would sell them for £60 if anybody’s after a pair?

    Too heavy, not that grippy either because of that ridge. Replaced mine with superstar(!) nanoflats…recommended!
