Two young ladies with naf all on and a fella with a vid recorder in local woods on a busy sunday morning. Stood and watched for a bit with a couple of old fellas who were already there when I arrived, boggle eyed and salivating!
My grandma used to do us buttered bread and jelly when we went round for saturday tea….she was mad and Irish though!!
My sister has peanut butter and branston pickle sandwiches… obviously takes after her grandma!
Afan or Glyncorwygg(cant remember or spell it)
Thats slowrider who apparently pooed in his pants and in the distance, daddy slowrider bringing up the rear…twas good!
Yeh it gets really cold from underneath in a hammock, especially with a down bag, even in summer! I take some laminate floor underlay, the white slightly expanded stuff, weighs nowt and keeps your arse warm.
YIKE! wont be watching that thankyou! Hope your sorted soon mistermouse.
Davy you’re just hard.. bit like Mel Gibson in leathal weapon when he does that shoulder thing….thats you that is 😀
Thats encouraging. Are you doing physio on it and did they give you any clues as to when you could ride again? I’ve also got a couple of wires with loops on the end sticking out, how do they remove em? – got visions of them being pulled out like pulling a pin on a hand grenade [shudder]
Agreed, a bivvy bag is great if the weathers kind, so much quicker to pitch than a tent. Plus, in a tent, I kind of feel like I’m missing a little bit of that ‘completely outdoorsy’ feeling you get sleeping under stars.
I make an indentation with a drill bit, being careful not to go all the way through. I do this on the sides not on the back or front so as not to weaken it.
Then tighten the rear QR as coatesy suggested.
I’ve been getting creaks from a newly fitted hope BB on RF crank/orange 5 and went down the same route as you, taking it apart and refitting etc.
Been out today after doing up my QR REALLY tight- not a creak!….Cheers for that coatesy, saved me from smashing it with a hammer…
