    Thanks guys for your interest.

    and to clarify it all
    diy

the cnc housing on its own is £50 .00
the leds / optics / maxflex is £60 from cutters
you then need a switch & power socket £ 10

you need to be able to solder to a board .
    and drill holes in aluminium

If you want one built up it would be £165 + pp
and here is the hard bit money up front.

batteries and chargers to suit can be got at a good price from

That would be defeating the object have you tried an integrated battery light combo on your lid .

yes it does smell of candyflos if you want it to .

anyone in west yorkshire can pop in and have a look at one built and working.

thanks all who have emailed me . I will get back to you but it has gone a bit crazy in my inbox so just bear with me

    Mr Nutt
    I hope so .
no it wont take p7s they are so yesterday :-)
XPE is the future , cable is where ever you want , and switch is also whatever you want . it is diy after all . and yes you can have a matching soapdish.

    swiftacular.
the original idea was just the housings for the diy builders
but as I am an underworked floor layer at the moment then a few quid is better than nowt so yep i will build some up , the list is a bit long and i am going to be a bit busy in the freezing garage.

    Smudge I agree totally .

    Count zero
no problems it could be a while before I catch up with the back log now. :D

If you are serious mail me
the housing is £ 50 plus pp

the led kit from cutters is 120 aus dollars +pp or £53.66 today +pp

you then need a switch and power conector

output on full is 1164 lumens with R2 leds
and with the soon available R3s 1326 lumens these are of course max ammounts

it mounts to the helmet with a simple velcro strap or to the bars with most clamps you just need to drill a hole and bolt it on

6 of diamonds Dont know lost that out the pack

Steve it is a very bright tin of pilchards .

    Mboy
The triple MCE blows everything I have seem out the water

and the XPE 6 helmet light is imho about perfect

    Innes
where as in the pic it is reflectors in the beam shot I have used
    some optics from Ledil

it would in your endcap but you would need serious heatsinking.

    Leeroybrown & sq225917
we would prefer to sell just the housings , but would do a few built up also if required .

no idea on price yet waiting for Deesta the cnc man but I think either housing will be in the £45 area.
and the cheapest way for you to get a built up unit is for you to order the bits have them delivered to us we build up the light and send to you .

twohats it is a nice table we like it

    Hi smudge
glad your back again Hope your dads improving

Update on this killer light is this is the latest incarnation
    for the housing

with a beam shot with the van @ 100 mtres

Steve aka deesta is improving the design and doing a run on the cnc machine

alongside his own light housing which will take lots of configurations of leds and optics

    beam shot with 3 MCE`s

if you want any more info on these housings get in touch

    Mike It runs off a 14.8v / 12v / 7.4 v .

I can not say about the cateye as no experience with their stuff.

funny you should mention it but I have no desire to
spend days in my garage cutting and sawing ali to make lights for a few bowls of rice . though it may come to that soon.
But I am looking into someone making the housings on there CNC stuff
and then it will be a possibility.

as to cost then I have no idea you put a value on a light of this quality.

    not alot

    6 XPE leds @ £4.50 = £27.00
    6 10 mm square optics @ £1.00 = £6.00
    1 maxflex @ £22.00 = £22.00
    switch/socket/ and sudries = £20.00
    postage = £10.00
    piece of aluminium £6.00
    ——-
    £ 91.00

plus a few hours in the garage

    Hi Vortex
the cutter lens is a perfect fit will need a bit of silicon for waterproofing

drill and glue in a captive nut for the mount as there is not enough meat to take a tap unless you put a larger slug in and tap that.
which is what I have done for the quad cutter one.

:wink:not really my own idea Smudge did a cutter one before xmas
