Just got some new XMLS in £7 each £1 postage

No idea on how it effects battery life but not had any complaints from users .

it involves removal of the leds and optics and replacement with XPG leds and reflectors plus a front lexan cover .
I only do the one reflector and it makes a spottier beam

Nothing to stop you plugging a bastid into a wallwart power supply and fixing it up as an outside light .

Or chucking a couple of good leds into an old halogen case with a driver and power it from a dc supply as above.

As I have been upgrading these lights to XML leds in the process I have found quite a lot with fractures in the cable near the strain relief on the light head ,
I think the cable is too stiff especially in the cold and is failing there
I have also had the not making contact in the connectors problem too
and the opening of the pin works but be very carefull as its a fine line from busted.

depends if it was the two part then yes it should set in about five mins

if the one part No its only a paste and will stay a paste

dunk I have an old Lib bag you can have its a bit muddy bit will fit your batteries

or a new bag like the lumi one. got a box full of those but dont think your battery will fit them

I was coming back in my van from doing some beamshots of a very bright light and had to pull over when coming the other way were a group of bikers with everything on I couldnt see owt cepting lights

so lit up my light and shone it at them funnily they all dimmed theirs straight away 😈

just finished another one today I cant do runtime experiment as only have the light head and no battery .

what you get is approx 2000 lumens on full you still have three levels of output and a strobe mode

on full it will pull 3.5 amps from the battery so you should be able to workout the approx runtime from your battery specs .

medium pulls around 1.5 amps

Mine is getting better and I can stop him right at the start but once he sets off then it is difficult

I always put him on the lead if I see other dogs and certainly for sheep

Is the housing plastic if so no good for a led upgrade

Battery and charger is good for a Dominator light head

Dunc Paddy took to it nearly straight away on the back road to kildwick from my house
had 2 dog front wheel interfaces and he now knows to keep away from it .

Should have explained
He did three runs first is just the Dominator then just the Spidereyes but the beam was too hot for the camera third run was both Dominator and spidereyes

the gamera and light were on the helmet which is why the square stays in the middle .

OK quick sort of edit sorry for the sound dont know what went wrong there

gopro video was very shonky seems like you need 10000 lumens or more to get good vids on one
but hears some using old tech tho old sony bullet cam not had time to edit it so large file alert
