Drafting without doing your turn on the front, then all over the road on the way back down?

Nope Armin passed them on the climb waited for us to catch up on the top by this time the roadies had started down and we all blitzed them going down

I do ride one and love every mile , Yes its a little tougher up the tarmac climbs but on the rough stuff its a hoot .
700 ish miles on one this year including a week riding in the Pyrenees
I only rode it the first 2 days and my German mates rode it the other 3 days and had a blast
even pissing off a group of roadies going up the Peyresourde and going down the other side

They are more capable than they look and ride lighter than they look too

    Thanks Zippy
trouble with the OPs set up is the battery is likley to be very tired
and the cost of bits to do a a led conversion will be higher than a whole new light set.

The Sony HDR AS15 is great with the steady shot on as can be seen here
with it on a Fatty fork so no suspension

Down side are the mounting system so some bodgery required

yes we went up but did not know the name at the time
down again past the small lake and some did go to the new ski station and back up the road but I was bolloxed so picked the Tourmalet up 2 hairpins from the top
and stupidly had forgot the helmet cam for the roady ride back down

Lifts not an option going with some sadistic Germans

one days plan is to drive to the top of the Tourmalet and bike up to the Pic Du Midi
then head down towards the snow barriers above Barege and what is an excelent decent to barage then slog back up the road to the top for the vans

Cheapes option would be to get a single cell and solder it in
Smudge will have some with tails on
if it works then happy face time. if its the driver board then its back to Exposure and pay for the repair .

or write it off and put the money to a new light

    trout

It could be that the battery has discharged below its safe threshold during storage and if so will not recharge
a new cell is quite easy to fit if you are handy with a slodering iron
hardest part is opening the thing.

Smudge has done quite a few battery replacements on the joysticks .
if he cant help then I can have a look but not till after September 15

So will this standard migrate to Fat bikes too

and should folks be stockpiling 26 inch tyres with a view to them increasing in value as the bikeshops run out

Or is it a storm in an inner tube and nowt to worry about

yes theboil was interesting had a couple of near does and quite a bit splashed out so got some syrup
    to cleanup
I got two fermenters with 19 litres each from it and had sparged some extra into a pan to boil on the cooker to top up with
the mian boil came out at 1062 but then i bust my hydrometer so could not get the real gravity after topping up
I wont do a lerge brew like that again unless igeta bigger vessel

I use starsan for sanitising but have to get distilled water as it goes cloudy with my tap water
great with it being no rinse makes bottling nearly a pleasure I do have a couple of cornies in the fridge for session beers which have been good this summer

Weather being favourable on tuesday I will pop over for the ride

This is an experiment to max out the brewing equipment with a hopefull end result of 20 litres for me and 20 for a mate should be about 5% if I hit the quantities right .

and tomorrow is also a brew day as my Bro is coming down from scotland to have a go with a view to him building his on set up .

Been trying to finish work early on a tuesday with a view of joining your rides around baildon got next tues off so should be a goer

Thanks its not a critical part. just a bit of 10mm stainless pipe into a 10mm to 15 mm copper reducer
it wont by used under pressure just gravity

When I were a lad Mums cat Henry got hit and broke his back leg
crawled home and we took him to the vets where they bandaged him up
He lived in a cupboard next to some hot water pipes for a few weeks and emerged with a very stiff leg but got on with life .
A couple of years later got hit again bust the same leg and had it removed Yep back in the same warm cupboard for recovery .

He was still a bonkers cat when he adapted to three legs and had a couple more RTA`s before passing away from old age but must have used up all nine lives

Can’t see the point at the Dales Bike centre, they will be past there in the blink of an eye, try the hill just up the road to Leyburn and you might stand a chance of seeing one of them.

Trout can’t you just walk down the road?

Yes Funky Dunc spare bedrooms been booked by the bro in law and family
Sat will ride over to Draughton
and Sunday would like to see them at the bottom of the Col de Cringles streaming through Silsden

I have repaired one using a soldering iron and a bit of the bladder from an edge
but its a fine line between a fix and a ruined bladder

or solvent adhesive for pvc plumbing pipes should do a permanant repair
