    @thecaptain

Evidence of foul play – absolutely. But specifically Russia?? None that I have seen or that has been offered up.

Would I put it past Russia – no.

But would I put it past the UK, Israel, the US or others? Er, no also.

All have form as being sneaky b*****ds and most Governments are as crooked as sin – especially those named above.

The West needs is ‘baddy’. Russia are conveniently that. They need to be maintained as such so that the agenda can continue to be pushed to allow continually increased military spending, allow unquestioned or balanced surveillance on the people and allow the general suppression of civil liberties whilst all the time ensuring that the rampant debt based consumerism required to perpetually keep the capitalist ponzy scheme is propped up.

I have no doubt that Russia quite enjoys its position as No.1 baddy too which doesn’t help the situation!

Has anyone found any actual evidence yet?

    Another Brit in Australia here.

My general experience is WLB is better here. Title chasing and career maneuvering isn’ as pronounced and even a middle order uk work ethic will make you look good from what I have seen.

Moved just over 2 years ago. Now live in a small beach town south of Adelaide which was named Australia’ 6th best which is also in the heart of a stunningly scenic wine region with more gravel roads than you can shake a stick at. 2 min walk to the sea with no houses in front of me. Just stuck a pool out back too.

My personal work life balance is much much more in my favour and there seem to be many more opportunities available if you have the get up and go. I also co run a series of gravel events here too.

I also feel I have morre time to do stuff with the kids or certainly engage with them more.

I do have to pinch myself at times as life is just so good.

    HOWEVER……

it hasn’t all been and still isnt plain sailing. Settling kids, particularly a teenage boy, has had its challenges and it takes a time to start to cement real friendships. Constant doubt as to whether you have done the right thing and missing family and friends can put you on a huge emotional rollercoastr too and you can lurch from being insanley happy to tears in a very short space of time. As someone alluded to above, England with sunshine it ain’t.

Will it be forever? Who knows. A lot will depend on the health of parents I guess. That said there is no chance of coming back at the moment with all the nonsense going on in the UK etc.

Win loose or draw, you will look back one day and not regret giving it a try.

This is the stuff crudely extracted from industrial hemp and hemp seed.

This should not be confused with the real deal which is extracted via supercritical co2 methods from proper cannabis with high cannaboid percentages at the right ratios.

Well, most songs on George Best. Angry emotional break up songs.

Or, if I need lifting, Sounds of Blackness: Everything’ Gonna Be Alright (Foundation Mix)

A brand new Revo in its box was my worst cock up. Still niggles me as i cant believe I was that stupid.

A quarter of white widow once too, although that could have been a lucky escape seeing the effect on friends!!!

I tried many set ups over the last 8 or 9 years including the use of racks and panniers and even a bob yak as well as saddle, frame and bar mounted options.

The use of the dropper will limit your ability to carry without some kind of compromise, be it weight, bulk or stability.

If not internally routed then the easier option is to leave it at home on trips out. Your bikepacking riding style is probably like to be different anyway so probably won’t be as necessary.

Lost my mum 8 years ago.

The experience (both the long period of illness and the end of it) profoundly changed me and my family and things only really got back on track a few years ago in all honesty

I focused on my health and fitness and met someone who changed my life extremely positively although in a non sustainable fashion sadly

You can try and run away from grief but it will catch up with you. It’s just the way it is. You can choose when and how to some extent and delay it by diversion but you will have to face it at some point.

My dad has a new partner now. Just saying those words before would have been crippling but he is happy and why shouldn’t he be? He asked me last week for my blessing for him to ask her to marry him. Was very touched to be included in that process.

Life often throws a spanner in the works, thats just the way it is but you just have to keep moving forward.

That said, I think of her daily but i can now talk about the beautiful person she was without being upset and that gives me a warm glow and sense of peace.

Live 1 minute from the beach and can ride real gravel practically from my doorstep.

    Consider myself very lucky (‘rich’)

May leave it till they do a v2 or v3.

The sweet spot for me is one unit for nav, track and 2 way emergency comms. I am sure it won’t be long in coming seeing as that must be the goal of merging those companies!

Can you use them to nav in a similar way to, say a 810??

Also is there a bar mount for them yet?

Garmin website not helpful on either matter!@
