Well, if it was my own business thats what I would be looking to do. But its not my money, they want secure, hassel free return. It does seem surprising hard to actually speak to banks that know what they can offer a business. Ive just gone through three idiots at Abbey who didnt know what they offered.

Ive spoken to the bank – the best they can offer is 1.67%. But they only sell their own products. Id like some more choice.

People who try one of the “fixes” tell you they dont get punctures anymore. But is that really due to the fix, or the fact that they have removed the thorn from the tyre, pumped it up properly or dont ride on a thorn infested trail anymore. Its not scientific.

Just pump up your tyres. Seriously, just how many punctures are you getting ? Where are these puncture prone trails ? Ive never found them.

I ride all year in the Chilterns / Cotswolds / France / Welsh Trail Ctrs.

Put 40 psi in and get about one/two punctures a year. I use Kenda tyres and normal innertubes.

Just put more air in your tyre, the one or two punctures you may get will be a chance for a rest. Not an pain.

I cant understand why some of you moan. If you dont like the price, dont buy it.

Yes, its a whyte 46. The cables are the correct length – same length as they have been for the 4 years Ive been riding it. Old outers, new inners and just lubed them.

But amazing as it sounds, there are people who want the shite that is served at Little Chef. Some people wouldent know good food if they choked on it. If HB changes it too much they will have to get new customers. But the problem may be that everyone associates Little Chef with shite food. It will take some publicity to get new customers in the door. Oh and some pots and pans. The business model of low quality food, low skill staff and a big portion will have to change.

Some of the staff are amazing – that manager who has been there 25years – how sad is that. Most of his working life has been to serve shite food that will have helped fat people get heart attackes. Put that on your grave.
