Good last week (Friday) despite some heavy rain, new sections drain really well and very little standing water. Hully Gully is ok but has some wear.
Hope line rides really well at the moment.

Warns74 thanks, I got that, the tech description though quotes two lengths, 1300 and 1500mm just wanted to know from an owner who had one what was the unshortened length.
    Thank you though very helpful.

    Hi,
Can somebody post up a pic of the cable routing for the direct mount front derailier. I have it routed up to the last stop behind the seat tube, how do you run it into the der body?
    Thanks

Had both and the RC3ti are amazing but the R is a very good option if the budget is tight.

Took another trip today and whilst drier the advice proved useful, kept off brakes and smoother steering & pedalling inputs keeping my body low meant I managed all sections comfortably, thanks all.

I had a set of Mavic Crossrides on a bike I acquired. Did’nt really get on with them. The Mavic rear hub seemed to slip and the wheels flexed a lot, so I just swapped to a set of Hope Hoops with Arch EX Rims, they are running with UST tyres and I feel they have transformed the ride.

I’m about 80kg kitted up and the new wheels are more up to the task. Hope seem to be universally popular hubs with lots of options for axle standards, most bike shops carry spare parts and they can be repaired quickly by an amateur mechanic using the Hope website and common sense.

    I’d highly recommend them.

Just to add had one of my best days riding, I was able to cleanly ride the uphill quarry section and the climb out of the valley for the first time. Really enjoyed hilly gully and the swoopy section too.

Grum tyre pressures around 30psi rear 35 front.

Loddrik “don’t accelerate or brake ” I think I get it ……maintain momentum.

Will be up there again next week and put it into practice.

    Thanks

Thanks for all the tips, common advice seems to be smooth controlled inputs but loose positioning low on bike?

They seem to be concentrating on road range, 95 percent of their showroom and workshop builds are road bikes.. Their new 29 er MTb is available on the site .

That wiggle offer appears good value, I think the site quotes that it is for a set of Flow rims, not the latest ex, not sure if it matters to you but hat may explain the lower price they quote.
