Clobber sourced from a mix from Ribble cycles mech, cassette and chain crc for the shifter.
Coatsey thanks will take that into account once I’ve adjusted the chainline with spacers and fitted the chainring.Do you empty air from shock to replicate full travel.

    A few answers.
Chain routed as per Shimano spec thru rear mech
    Hanger checked and straight
Chain length looks ok. The mech is at about 4 oclock position in the largest cog if that makes sense.
Chainline might be an issue. I am moving spacer from drive side to non drive side.
The NW ring has seen a lot of use so I am replacing it, will update once fitted.
    Thanks again

    Thanks
I don’t think that you do need the spacer on my frame as it is 73mm bb . The chainline is very acute in the largest sprocket but it’s more the middle of the cassette ( which I will use most) where I am bothered.

I got a set of the ds 25 rims on their hubs for <£190 earlier this year. Really pleased , they were straight and true and went really well on a Solaris build I did.

    Ok
    Single days out
    Not worried about data collection
    AA batteries would be best
Reliable in remote locations with no phone coverage
    Buttons better than touch screen
Easy bike mounting so not too big and bulky

Ed Fastline coatings in PRESTON are really highly rated and very competitively priced. Further for you but worth it in my opinion. Charged £40-50 per frame (hardtail) for a RAL coating.

I have a T5 Kombi -used for work, its an older one with 176bhp engine and LWB the Merc 116 is the likely replacement. The Merc drive realy well and are very reliable these days.
T5’s have lots of issues, DPF failures , driveshafts,Leaking side windows, gearbox and turbo issues are commonplace.
But Owners love them and are blind to dynamic shortcomings, I shake my head everytime I chat to an new owner who has changed from a proper car to a T5 and has convinced themselves that they make a good daily driver.

Not sure if either bikes of the earlier versions accept a 1.5″ fork in the steerer tube (later ones are 44 head tube so would be ok)
BFE is a good all rounder, I prefered mine at 120-140 (old pikes). I thought the Alpine which I had (mark2) was a great bike it had 55 Marzocchi (160mm) and climbed pretty well considering. Both make a good choice.

    Hora,
I’m 6ft and the Large 26″ Bandit was just right for me.
The 650B was similar size but I think someof the geometry is different.

Yes they can drop in 10mm increments, just running in a set (120mmRL2) on a new build and first impression is good. Not that heavy, they feel plush and cf to other longer travel 29ers like Revs and Rebas they are beefy. They are simple to set up, the 15mm axle is a bit agricultural but I think they are better finished than Rockshox offerings. Not used Pike so cannot offer direct cf.
Decent price at momemnt have a word with Bike scene as I think they have some stock.

Don’t see an issue using this company. Their business model seems to offer a good price, decent brands and clear delivery dates . I ‘ve ordered many times and they have never let me down. Sometimes the items come sooner than stated.

Matte finish on both a specialized stumpy carbon & a whyte 129 s that I did recently was excellent you could not see the kit fitted onto the frame . Matte black and grey finishes respectively.
