I’ve used them for bike finance. Dead easy no pressure, simple and quick. Winstanleys are top notch in my experience . The guys on the retail side seem knowledgable and keen to give you options. Generally carry plenty of stock.
Yes, done a similiar distance Preston to Zermatt in a day, left home at 6.30am and sank first beer in Zermatt at 10.30pm.
Tolls not cheap I reckon we spent £175 on tolls but memory fading fast!
Do it.
Thanks great suggestions was trying John Lewis, NFU Mutual, Co-op so thats good to hear that a couple of them are well regarded on here. I will try the Pedal cover tomorrow.

Resurrecting this thread for 5 owners.I have a load of issues with my 1 x 11 set up on a 26″ 5. I’m running a Shimano XT 11-42 cassette, XT Clutch mech, XT shifter and a Hope 30 front NW ring in the middle position on a Deore triple with an 11 speed KMC Chain.
My main issue is chainline. -the chain is bending at the front of the cassette and at the front of the chainring I have a problem with the chain dropping down the cassette unless I’m pedalling forwards? Anyone else had this issue please.
Shift quality is ok and gear changing is good untilI go into the largest cog . Checked B screw position too.
Any suggestions please?

The PHD range is down, really great warmth, weight and quality plus made in Uk, if that’s important to you. Priced reasonably close to the one you have highlighted.
I have a couple of these plus a Finisterre gilet which was bought in sale and is really good quality with a man made filler.
Jungle are official service Bos stuff . j tech and Mad Elk in Ireland do services and carry some spare parts seals etc. in all honesty I would look for rs or fox instead. The lack of spares on Bos is a real world problem for owners and time off bike waiting for parts would spoil your enjoyment.

Superstar hubs and rims off the shelf at less than £200 have been great for a couple of builds I have done recently.
The wider ds25 rim holds up well and is very strong with good internal width if you need to be “on trend”! Or a
Good set of second hand hope pro 2 and arch or flow ex also come up on here regularly and often for similar £.
Both of these have plenty of hub options .
Finally look out for Easton Haven wheel sets, superb rims and decent hubs which are lightweight and very strong. Earlier bearing issues are resolved on later versions and should be picked up for similar or less £ to the above as new.
These are qr 135 or 142 compatable.

Thanks for the replys. Lots of positive comments for DT Swiss , how easy are they to convert to various axle stds, ie I need a 135 x 12 at present but to future proof be nice to know I can convert to others e.g 142 x 12 etc? I’m thinking there will be more 142 hubs available new than the 135 x 12 so could I retrofit a different end cap ala Hope.

That listing is clearly for a Mk11 so I guess you have a reason to feel hacked off. The Orange 5 is same shock i think 190 x 50 but tune might be different. Plenty of newish CTD knocking about if it bothers you, the RP23 in that guise is pretty good.
