Bikes can not weigh more than 23kg under easy jets new terms and conditions. The only exception is if you booked before they changed the rules, fortunately our party did ( for Morzine next July ) We’ve checked.
Last Friday was diving into a fast down hill corner with small rut/berm, next thing I know I,m on floor with broken coller bone. Tyre was a used 2.35 high roller on crest rim or rather not on rim. No more tubeless for me .
I took the family to Morzine and it was great.Highly recomend the “multi-pass” 1E per day gives you lift pass for the whole region.
Plus lots of other acivities like swimming and tennis.
Morzine would probably be best if your on a budget.
Get one. I have several bikes and this is my fave at the moment. I changed bar and stem soon as I got mine, 65mm stem. Also it pedals really well with the propedal off, which is comfy.
Had exactly this prob’ last year, changed the new s.s. 203 rotor for an old hayes one and it instantly went away. B.T.W. I usually use formula 180 rotors and think they’re great.
Have you had some Quotes? It might not be as much as you think. Post a pic up, and I’ll tell you how much I’d charge. Mind you I’ve not got much work on that’s why I’m sat at the computer!
On a related subject, – Does anyone have any experiance of a compressed vertebra? T8 in my case, Did it in a crash mid July but it wasn’t x-rayed till October and I still haven’t seen a phisio or any one who knows anything.P.S. it,s O.K.riding but work is difficult.
Looks really dry , so the “brown” stripes are probably fallow to allow moisture to build up for the next year. The randomness isn,t The lines are mostly perpindiculer to access roads and to avoid patches of rock.
BTW brother in law used to farm in Alberta.
My mates got 2 Hecklers One is a fairly light build 36’s air shock, normal wheels and tyres — 33lb Other is Alps spec- coil shock, double and bash, dual ply tyres etc— 37lb. That’s on calibrated scales. ( calibrated by the Milk Marketing Board 40 years ago !!! )
Put them in your car, drive to local Tree surgeon / firewood supplier, who has a large hydraulic spitter, give him a tenner ( or similar ) help him split them , load back in car.
There,s a bike shop in Calpe that hires bikes. THere are lots of trails but in 21 years of climbing in that area this was the first time I saw any MTB’s.
+1 for Leptospirosis, I can still remember mad halucinations 9 years later. And still have painfull calf muscles. Any long term effects for you Mickypies?
Another vote for varifocals, had them a month, took one day to get used to them. ( grounds a bit blury by front wheel mind! ) Try specsavers – very good.
