If its a 56 plate engine chances are its the PD engine so the new facelift edition (2009 onwards) has the CR engine. A quick Google shows up no recalls on any recent models on the AA or the DFT websites.

DPF and short runs arent a match made in heaven, but I only do 6 miles each way to work and as long as it gets an A road or motorway blast a couple of times that month then its fine. If Im honest the salesman didnt mention it at all at the time which was cheeky and perhaps I would have changed my decision had I known but there are removal options available if its the only thing stopping you.

Ive have a 170 since new in 2008. Currently got 55K on the clock and still running well. Its fun to drive, fairly spacious and a good work horse for carting bikes and kit around. Mine munches front tyres in about 10-12K so can be pricy on that front and I return about 37-40mpg on average, probably nearer 43 if I did more motorway miles. If you have a DPF watch out for it clogging up. Mine seemed to do it constantly and its expensive to have it cleared. However Ive found that V-Power diesel seems to keep it in good nick and its not been a problem for the past 18months of using it. Overall its comfy, but firm, handles nicely in corners, can be thrashed or driven carefully and still be a good drive. Plenty of torques to wave at poor petrol owners too!

Been stuffing 7% a month away into a final salary for the last 5 years and work has been doing the same only with 22% so Im putting myself firmly into the lucky category. Probably wont be worth much in the long run as Im not planning on sticking around here for another 40 years but every little helps and not to be sniffed at in this day and age.

Building a custom shed. Started with grand plans and currently have a base, two sides a back and half a front. 18 months later. The blue tarp covering it all up really sets off the garden.

Atera for me, made by Thule and much cheaper, and by all accounts just as good. No probs and takes seconds to put the bike up and down onto it. Just avoid underground carparks and height barriers! 😉

Stayed in the Millennium Broadway on W44th last year, pretty much bang in Times Square, walking distance to almost everything of interest. Room was really nice, not that you notice as you are out 99.9% of the time. Make sure you check out the Red Flame diner too!

If it was black its not designed to break, you are supposed to split it like any other link. If its gold/bronze then it should click open pretty easily. If you have trouble fold the chain into a Z shape with the powerlink as the diagonal and you can apply plenty of pressure.

6’2″ with a 20″ Whippet, seems a good size, certainly plenty of standover, anything smaller may feel a little short? Enjoyed the ride, seemed smooth, just trying to get used to HT after 15 years of full suss….

Tesco website is great, service less so, I rarely got everything I asked for. Sainsburys delivery is in more convenient slots and I generally got everything I was after or a very sensible substitute.

Mate of mine used to work for Tescos and said that the substiution process was done alphabetically so if you wanted bananas and they were out, there was a high chance you would get bleach instead.

Funny you should post about this, I bought a guitar last week purely to MAKE me learn as Ive always wanted too but never been bothered. Actually finding it pretty hard to make the necessary shapes and getting a smooth transistion from one to another. Its given me an immense appreciation to those that make it look as simple as I used to think it was.

Mate of mine did it this year and said it was great fun. Never felt like his life was in danger as such but still had the adrenaline rush etc. He is trying to get me to go next year…

They may well be able to work it out but its the question of whether you would have had that balance had you been due to pay interest. If its on 0% then why clear it all? No need, it wont cost any more to leave it there, pay minimum payments and free up some cash. However if interest had been charged then you may be more inclined to pay more or all off to save getting hit. They cant really back date it as the situation may have triggered a different reaction by the bill payer.

Either find the memory card in My Computer, right click, Format or use something like SDFormatter

Sounds like the card may need formatting? I presume you just hooked it up to the PC and clicked delete on the files? May have left some corruption on the card. I would suggest always doing a format once you have taken the videos you want from it.
