Have still a great pair of Croaker boots(similar to brogue)by jeffrey west (Northampton)after 14 years, originally bought for a mates wedding from the shop which I believe was in Palmerston road and only have been worn probably once a year on average ever since, great quality boot with a quirky cleft heel.
Can be pricy but for a decent quality shoe but why wouldn’t you pay that bit more.

Hey Rob,i was a bit hasty with that post of mine it seems I was mistaken by the looks of things, just put mine on the bathroom scales, comes in just shy of 10kg with candy 2 pedals and bottle cage,so yes with a lighter set of wheels tyre combo I’m sure you could get down too nine + maybe.
Last time it was weighed may of had fully ladden saddle bag.
    Cheers.

Hey Rob,i built mine up 2 years ago April,I’m not sure you could do that Tbh,tank is what mine is,I’ve Stans Grail rims(road)/pro2 evos, carbon post, ism saddle,shimano785s,28mm tyre, although the bars and stem I guess are a bit weighty, their salsa cowbell2 and stem,oh and 105 group, still comes in way over 10kg from memory.
I suppose a much lighter(pricier) wheel will shred a couple of hundred grams, and maybe carbon bars/stem combo?

    That’s s#1t,
got a say the Times I’ve been there it has made me wonder about that kind of thing what with it being a popular spot out of the way, expensive gear etc etc,
I’ve an urge helmet that I no longer use if your in a jam, clean no damage..offers there.(free).

    Hey BF…
I’ve a 2016,I’m 5 10″ with 32″ inside leg,on the size chart I was boardering med/large,i decided on the large as I like to be a little stretched,I went for a 40mm stem and it fits a treat, wouldn’t want any shorter but still wouldn’t want any longer either, dual air revs 120/150 upfront feels spot.
Get yourself a demo if any doubts, its a very capable bike.

Be careful in Poland, have driven there on many occasions, too say it’s a little ‘lairy’is an understatement..would perhaps keep too designated cycle paths if possible(unsure if any?).

    +1 nuke

Even when going too view make sure you thoroughly check if possible,i responded outside of stw and mailed direct, sent my fella to look at some RS Revs uturn(in Reading),everything seemed ok “at the meeting point”,(yes yes I know),when asked why the poplock wasn’t attatched he said”just needs a new cable, its perfectly fine”he took his word, seemed like a straight-up guy by all accounts,(merc cabrio, roadie looking type).
Anyhows when said fork was looked at turns out the internals were a bit knackered, couldnt be bothered in doing the service as the lock out worked a little bit, just carried on riding until sold for a lot less than what was paid for.

Best buy new imo if possible.
