My yeti sized 13yr old had a grin from ear too ear this morning.

Arrived (27.5 sentier)Monday morning after a faultless journey from wherever,on time, great Comms regarding how I wanted it too come, opted for part build,so very happy with this, all is well built with just a onceover with the torque spanner from me,install cable for dropper post, center brake calipers, bars job done!!!

Echoe most of all from above, absolute Bargain!!

Shame not everyone that wanted wasn’t able too.

Will try superstu,it’ll be a spares bin build some new/old.

Built more so for the lad as he grew out of the last MTB,I’ve a few rides that are just a smidge too big presently for him and this’ll also do for the me  as I’ve no multi geared hardtail MTB atm.

I’ve had and in the past a few frames and still have an on-one amongst others, planet X honoured their warranty when I had a whippet fail on me many years go,no problems my end, sometimes the haterz just gotta hate most have never had too make a claim, band waggons an all that .

It’s a winter hack, not an overpriced SC chameleon.

    Bit fugly but ‘itll do’

@sirronj noisy?? Mine was the quietest bike I’ve ever owned, still is.
I think that’s what made it enjoyable, not having too think about changing gear, chain chatter when changing.Pure Simplicity.

OP I was wanting too do this good few years ago with my ti lynskey rd bike,at the time if I remember I couldn’t source the shifters/compatibility without spending a fortune,in te end I bought a ‘gravel’ bike as it had more scope of use at the time for my riding.
Still have the roadie now, full Shimano 105,disc with a Hope pro2/Stan’s gravel rims gathering dust.
DM if interested for more details.

Makes you wonder who the ‘Gang of thugs’really are’.That is truly sickening and heartbreaking that by what looks and sounds like a very frightened man knows what is about too happen,I for one do not hope it stays quiet in Memphis.
    Disturbing.

Lots of mail comes from Poland in vans that come too and fro on a weekly basis, very normal for us too have parcels sent from Mrs T’6 family too here without the hassle of other shipping methods, you ring a number they pick up and bring over so I’m guessing that they’ll post when it reaches uk

No movement from Disc in hand off bike, only when on bike whilst stand braking.
As you can see my vocab for components is limited, but I’m sure it’s coming from housing around spline area over hub???
I wonder,RX4s are pretty shall we say grippy.

Yes tj,there is minimal even when not tightened just looking but can see movement aswll as feel when tight
Hear you scotroutes as bruneep says could be but can defo see.
Will fire over mail too hunt, hopefully get some info
It doesn’t help when your on the ocd spec, unfortunately I’m like it at work (construction) when no need to be at times, just have a keen eye and a sense something doesn’t feel right.
I’ll get torqued correctly and go from there,if no change will go from there.

Maybe so Nick/mashr,I’ve not had centrelocks for sometime and as you know there’s none on 6 bolt set up.
    Edit.I didn’t know there should be,I guess it’s a compatibility thing,minimal tolerances etc.
Never thought of that bruneep, but defo movement around the fitting area where rotor attaches too main hub body.

    trap6

    No,no adaptor,rotor straight into hub.
I confused tings there using’adaotor’ too many times.
No just a centre lock rotor on hub.

I’ll second andym thoughts,I’ve just today took my new build out too Hansterley forest with the same wheels 29r flav, got to say paired with minions I’ve never had an easier tubeless experience, both wheels & tyres with sealant inflated within a few minutes for each wheel, normal track pump on first attempt, bought from CRC already set up with valves&tape.Dust caps double up as a valve tool,
    Brilliant so far.

I had this myself recently albeit a different fork.
Basically find out what your fork adapter lug size are(mine were for a 160mm Post mount caliper)then order size adapter that fits.
Is it a post mount fork or I.s?
    I’ve not properly explained.Sorry.
I purchased from uberbike parts for my 203mm adapter, there are all sizes whether i.s or pm.

    Mmm,
I’ve recently purchased these for a build I’m thinking now what’s the best measure to take?
I can’t send back as have had too long,
one of the kcnc preload bolts as mentioned above?
I’ve always had Shimano cranks and never had this issue, fingers crossed it’s not part of the batch.
OP,can you not take it up with retailer?

I’ve had the same problem jairaj, hence the forum help.
I had completely forgot about SS Components,I’ve had(still)a custom wheelset in the past that served me well on a sc nickel, unfortunately they’re freehub sizes look out of stock for 12spd.
Hope, yes but I’m impatient and it’ll be a bit of a wait for me as build time would run into Easter, something for the future as 2/4 bikes are Hope hubs/rims.
I’ll pull the trigger on the nukeroof Horizon for now(as mentioned above),their sure to be more than capable for my riding, can’t see reliability being a problem as I don’t ride half as much as I should.Hoping things will change there.
