The M20 Rise with the Fox 34 comes with 140mm travel same as H30 with the Z2 this gives a low BB of 336mm, if your getting lots of pedal strikes 10mm to 150mm would help, I swapped out my Fox 34 to my Manitou Mezzer I already had at 160mm

I have a Transit Custom converted with rear seats & no bulkhead & twin sliding doors with windows, but I have heard on fb group someone in same position as you OP being told need windows in rear Tailgate to be able to get away with it, not just side windows & seats etc, I would argue like you & my V5 is N1 & 6 seats

I would go Manitou Mezzer light as a 36 & stiff as a 38 & easy to internally adjust travel. I have a set so am biased it’s one of best fork I have owned apart from an Ohlins however don’t need specialist tools for complete service including damper! So for that its best fork out there & at current prices on CRC

I have had my Rise for about 4 months, I had an e-Sommet before that!, I am running the Rise 160mm up front, it’s a very capable bike you could run it as an Enduro bike with coil & beefy wheels & light wheels & air shock as a trail bike, I am 181cm with long torso & the size large bike is a fantastic fit, an amazing bike

I have an ep8 although mine is the RS on the Rise, for me it’s an amazing bike, very natural feeling motor, but only max 60n, I would join emtb forum for more feedback. The Bosch is a more powerful motor & latest 2022 bikes have new system & software that can tune like Shimano, their controls on Bosch are big & bulky,

I have SWB Transit Custom limited pre facelift, 6 seats can fold & remove rear seats full leather interior, heated seats etc, Euro 6 engine but without stop start rubbish! Compared to my old van pulls like a train, drives better than most of cars I have owned & it’s rapid, plus get lots of van envy from T5 & 6 owners 😂 best bit is dual sliding doors & tailgate

I got very close to being Buzzed at Bedgebury by ebikes trying to overtake me, I was on my ebike towing my 4yr old on a tag along & they were trying to squeeze past, their front wheel trying to go past him I just carried on till end of trail section, also got told to move by faster rider to right on the trail a lady on her Levo trying to come past I was going slow as a family in front of me & again I had the tag along, some people just can’t wait!!

Dt Swiss all day long, I thought Fulcrum were budget wheels! I have never thought of them for my mountain bikes, where as DT Swiss good for Road, Gravel or MTB

I ran mine in an Ibis Ripley V4 at 140mm travel & they are a very nice performing fork. I really like them, as nice as my Ohlins RXF34 & also boost which the Ohlins weren’t, supple & supportive through the travel I ended up removing a token so could get use of all the travel leaving a bit in reserve for big hits!

I like Burgtec for finishing kit, I hung out with the guys at a trade show & they were nice helpful bunch of guys & Stanton bikes having hung out with Dan at another Trade show, for me Hope are too big for their boots now, great for them but not such a small personal company anymore & just can’t stand the guys from Orange 😂

Another one to consider is Ripley V4 am 181cm tall with long torso & riding an XL 500mm reach with 40mm stem & 140mm fork. Could have gone large ride in woods in Kent & Friston

Not tried one but the Chromag Phase30 good weight.
The Spank 350 rims build into nice set of wheels, I do like ibis rims but they are wider at 34mm internal but being offset build a really nice wheel with DT hubs

I have put a 27.5 wheel in the back of my Ripley V4 was good fun on woods but more prone to pedal strikes. Have also put a 29er fork on front of my e-Sommet was 170 fork now running 160mm 29er fork & do enjoy riding the bike like this

If I was buying an expensive bike I would drive to pick it up, if was collection only, equally if I sold an expensive bike I wouldn’t send via courier but collection only or maybe I would also travel a certain distance if I knew buyer genuine & keen

The Unior tools for suspension are very good, your not trying to put 36mm seals in 35mm stanchions?

    transition1

It’s not the mech hanger!! It’s more likely the PTFE inner cable is scuffed somewhere causing issues, or your B screw not set up correctly, I did find with 11speed a 46T cassette worked better than a 50T with a Sunrace rear derailleur & XT one.

I have a 170mm Yari with Smashpot conversion & Yari up from fast suspension in 27.5 format am looking to put in classifieds currently advertised on Pinkbike, reason for selling decided to mullet my bike so running 160mm Mezzer up front. Makes the Yari better than Lyrik Ultimate

I got mine last year direct from Hotlines, 44mm offset came from Europe the bottom out bumpers loose at bottom of fork & no bleed screws & stickers one long word although forks have been good performing

I have MT5 on big bike & MT Trail on the trail bike. I got rid of all my shimano brakes & have gone to Magura I really like them, it you want 2pot front & rear there is the MT Sport.
The Trial comes with the 1 finger HC lever which is a nice shape. They are very easy to bleed

Tune hubs are very posh & light hubs King hubs nice engineering but not light & expensive & to change axle etc expensive.
Am currently running Acros hubs very loud & not cheap, ratchet hub like DT Swiss similar weight to 240s

Will keep my Mezzer thanks lighter & just as stiff & is a phenomenal performing fork
