when I dealt with all the Warranty for Transition no proof of purchase, (usually shop you bought from could help) then Transition unlikely to help.

I just built my Green 18″ one up, Rode it round Swinley yesterday. Good fun bike although I have a long torso so feel a bit small even with 50mm stem & 770 bars. Am 6ft 1″. Great to chuck around though…

What usually causes the clicking is a small ball bearing which sits in a cup. That is certainly the case for BOS suspension as I used to service them.
When the rebound adjuster fell out the ball bearing will have vanished too which is why is doesn’t click!

Had a set of MT4s & they had plastic screws for the bleed port, crap design , if someone over tightens your screwed, & its easy to do being plastic will strip the thread. Nightmare to bleed too used to love my old Magura Marta brakes easy to bleed etc

There is more to it than just lacing a wheel
Reverse Symmetric, Symmetric & Asymmetric patterns depending if front or rear wheel & for road or mountain bike Large Discs on a front wheel ie DH & Enduro will determine the way you lace the wheel….

Has the cable to the front mech lost some tension?
Check limit screw & that mech runs straight to the front chainring

Should take about an hour a wheel to build from scratch
so hours labour per wheel plus spokes

Dt Swiss Competition spokes about £1 from shop
Sapim CX Ray much stronger & lighter about £2 a spoke

I am asking because I am doing a bit of research as applied for a rep job for cycle brand, was wondering for advertising whether was good to supply kit to grass root riders, or mags to demo or to a bike skills instructors so people see their stuff. So wanted to ask the STW guys for their feedback

I have ordered one, but waiting for it to arrive, is due in Sept, will build it up when it arrives.

They will then ring me up to check stock. I never ordered any Smalls in as did not want to be left with any at end of season.

You won’t get Trans Am as no smalls in UK. Only have Medium in stock, so will be a long wait till get some from US

I am waiting for my Switchback frame to turn up!

Transition used to be a bit different & unique now their designs are boring & the same as any other brand

I sold a frame a while ago that would have been perfect. Pronghorn PR6 XC Carbon frame
I am currently selling a Pivot Mach 5.7 Carbon can run it with 140mm forks upfront & could be built up pretty light

best way to do it, done it on a few Transition frames is feed some gear cable through the hole at bottom bracket from the outside into the seat tube, when the cable comes out the top of the seat tube use the red double ended connector to attach one end to dropper post at trigger end ( unscrew the cable at trigger end, its a threaded barb) then just carefully push & feed the dropper post cable through the bottom bracket hole. Simples..
cable tie along frame & cut to required length & re screw onto barb on the trigger device

Might have a small bandit 27.5 although it is complete bike as built it up couple weeks ago at work
26″ Bandits hard to come by & if you have a small Covert def Med bandit as they come up smaller that the Covert

If you like the Covert what about a Bandit? It is a great bike more all day bike than the covert I have had both

Best forks out there are BOS only if you can service your own or outside of warranty…

what is the recommended psi on the fork? My RCT3 160mm 27.5 forks I was using all the travel so fitted one of the red volume spacers now the fork is perfect, am 14stone

Just put a Fat Albert on front of my bike, did have a HD
Am surprised how good the FA is grips well in the wet & is fast rolling..

SouthCoast Suspension are good with fast turn around
