Terrific value for money. Had mine for 18 months now and it has seen daily use hauling logs and shopping, etc., without any problems. One of those bits of kit where you wonder how you ever managed without it!

I know what you are going through at the moment, mW. It is not a case of MTFU, but you will find the strength to support her, believe me. Other people, even strangers on a forum, will be there to support you in turn. That was my experience. Best wishes to you both.

It doesn’t state anything on there about power, but when they were for sale last time it was a claimed 5 watt output. They are terrific value for money! :)

Edit: Why not buy two? :)

Both of them were covers from the previous year anyway, CZ. The originals didn’t chart, at least not in this country. Synths probably appeared on a lot of prior stuff, just not so prominently! (George Martin being an early adaptor):)

Edit: Daft obvious question. . .did the Dr. Who theme ever chart?

Slightly over your budget, but an Alesis io2would be spot on. They can be had for about £65.00.

Have a look in the ‘options/file locations/templates’ settings and see where that steers you, then adjust if necessary.

Back in the early 70’s, as a young dj, I used to mix discs together to form seamless never ending dance rythms. I got the sack ‘cos nobody liked it and it would never catch on. :)

Now where to get a 15 metre USB cable, then I wouldn’t have to move stuff around…

USB 2.0 provides for a maximum cable length of 5 meters for devices running at Hi Speed (480 Mbit/s). So be prepared for more expense as you pay for the necessary amplification , and the subsequent drop in sound quality! :)

Mboy, top end hearing is not the be all and end all of sound. Most damage is done to your mid range hearing.

Some of us have been earning a crust at this for over 45yrs, you know.

I second the Lancaster area. As well as the Glasson route you can also ride out to Crook of Lune/Caton or out to Morecambe, along the prom to Hest Bank and return along the canal. There is even a new ramp down from the aqueduct to connect with the riverside path. Lots of stuff to see and do en route, all of it flat!

edit: All excellently signposted, too! I doubt Gisburn green would be worth the effort, to be honest.

Just like in a soap opera, the editor decides to kill off characters as their perceived appeal starts to fade. Fresh faces appear, to fill the void. The show goes on. TJ will always be Ena Sharples in my world! :)
