Many thanks, Son-of-Mke, for the tip about No Mina to Lansbury. At 224T per trip that works out at a nice 19.3m Cr. Each round trip takes about 20mins so a conservative 50m Cr per hour.

The irony is that No Mina is only 2 jumps from my doorstep! :)

Alas my FC goldmine disappearing was not a glitch. It is worth looking out for though. I know that FC’s set a % of transactions as an earner. Maybe that setup worked for them and will become common place. Early days and lots of angles yet to be discovered.

I was just super cruising up to the FC (which was called ‘Sells Tritium @ 60k’, btw.) when it disappeared off screen. Whether this is just a glitch or if it has jumped system I do not know.

Vista may only use 15% of hard drive space for system restore, but it also creates a shadow copy as well. It does not have a limit for the number of these copies other than when your hard drive is full it will begin to overwrite them. The end result is little space for anything else to work other than by excessive reading and writing to the drive. . . a teeth grindingly slow process! A simple registry hack can cure this, so why MS have never addressed the problem is anybody’s guess. Oh, I know. . .Vista is pants!

Cut the smoke and mirrors about memory, please, the OP seems to have a 32 bit OEM system. It will only recognise 3gb, max.

We have established that his drive is full, with no efficient room to buffer video, etc.

Solution is create more space, simple.

Adequate suggestions have already been made.

There is your problem, no breathing room or lung capacity for your system to work. The file formats do not matter ( to a degree!) Windows itself is only happy if free space is above 20%, and happier still the more space there is.

Check out how much free space the hard drive has. A mature Vista installation will have filled it with system restore points. The spec you have quoted is perfectly adequate, no real gains to be had by adding anything. Your best bet, as others have said, is a fresh install or ditching Vista for another operating system. At the end of the day Vista is the problem, it’s pants!

The restricted sections of the A55 are very clearly signposted on huge hoardings. . . in TWO languages!

As project says, the NCN route 5 is also clearly signed. This parallels the expressway for the most part.

Derestriction occurs in the Bangor area, but even then a cyclist is likely to be stopped by police and ‘advised’ in no uncertain terms to remove themselves elsewhere.

The A55 is a ‘special’ road and has restrictions similar to a motorway along much of it’s length. The OP is not specific as to where the incident took place, but it is highly likely that a cyclist should not have been there, lit and visible as the sun or not.
