don't mess with the u-turn!!

the u-turn will probly be the 3 little bearings under the lever, take the lever off with an allen key and re-grease the bearings, it may noe give you more than 60mm of travel tho

what colour carper are you after i have some darkish brown automotive needlecord carpet at work you can have, i'm in Wigan, you need 1/8" – 3mm plywood and spray glue is easiest, you should'nt really need insulation but anything that fits in the gap will do, i'm a coachtrimer by trade btw and do this sort of thing for a living

conti gp 4000s do it for me, when conditions are bad i use conti ultra sport

conti ultra sport seem pretty good, ive run them on my winter bike for years and theyre pretty grippy and cheap

i put a concrete garage up recently and put ground anchors in the concrete base, a bloke at work made them for me and they are crackers, i also put deadlocks and a bolt on the up and over, a bar across the rear door and a seperate alarm

i was gona buy one a few months back as i fancied a dw turner but could'nt afford one so a mk3 seemed a great option till i spoke to my mate who works in a bike shop that sold them, he told me to steer well clear, had real issues with the rear ends cracking and ate bearings they'd had loads back and the warenty was aweful
