jeez, that footage of his mate falling was awful!

Who Dan Osman ? That was a controlled fall, the one he died in wasnt filmed to my knowledge.

Is there any sort of a fix for stripped threads 'cos I cant afford any new cranks. At all.

You might be able to get an engineering company to Helicoil them but will cost you as much as some second hand cranks off Ebay i would have thought

I think you have been ripped off, as already stated the license is non transferable and no amount of calls to MS will sort it

If you got the Laptop for a good price then put it down to experience uninstall it an buy Office Basic\Standard or download OpenOffice

Hmmm some interesting options cropping up, quite why you would even consider paying £150 and upwards for a headtorch for running when the frankly more than suitable Petzl Myo Xp is £50 i dont know, but hey you pays your money and all that……..

You can spot the pompous climbers in this thread from a mile away. The guy just asked a question…

And the guy has had several good answers, your point is ?

Yeah it is but you have to consider the consequences of a slip while riding, you aint going to be wearing crampons and carrying an axe while you are riding so the chances of self arresting are slightly diminished !!

    Another vote for fisherground.

Cant understand what it is with fisherground, i have never found it to be anything but terribly overcrowded and usually full of chavs, as for fires they are a major headache on campsites, you tent stinks of smoke and is usually covered in ash after one night !!

Only a few miles away try this one, its a 30 second walk to a great pub too:

I have one of these sat on my desk, running dual off my laptop, we also use these on our CAD systems, they are spot on, only 1680×1050 though so if you need 1900×1200 you will have to spend a little bit more:

just divided between the ME tent and coughing up for a hilleberg nallo

There is some discussions on various forums that Hillberg seem to be trading on thier name rather than the quality of the tents, i would go ME between the 2, good after sales and a good reputation for good quality kit

That said i have about 5 tents, of various makes, ranging from £150 cheapies to £450 mountain tents, my favourite and most reliable…. a vango, dont overlook them, they have been in the game along time.

Unfortunately, that would make a less reliable, secure, louder, more expensive solution than the ready NAS box.

Erm, OK, what do you think a NAS is exactly ?

Its essentially a stripped down PC with a stripped down O\S, still has fans CPU, MB, HDD etc. etc. and is therefore still as reliable as any PC ?

smbla won't do you much good in france.

I dont think there is much that will do you any good in France apart from a French guiding qualification, then again i may be wrong !!
