I have 2 pairs and really like them, only had one bust spoke but that was a rather large hit on the rim in the alps, never had to true them, never had to do anything with the bearings\hubs, cant ask for much more really.

Doggy shoes for long distance on harder surfaces

    These seem better regarded:

I like Mercury Rev but they always strike me as a band that would be God awful live. Sounds like I might have been right.

I have heard their studio stuff and its just bearable, but live….awful, self indulgent, boring w@nk !!

But to be fair they were supporting Placebo the first time and Bob Mould the second time, i can never figure out why 2 such different musical genres are on the same bill or why promoters think it will work.

I have had the misfortune to see Mercury Rev supporting somebody twice now.

They were utterly awful on both occasions and made me want to cut my ears off just so i had something to throw at them, i never understood the hype over them.

I can understand not running them at 20mph for 2 hours but the start stop nature of MTB must be reasonably OK for them ?

I cant see this sort of thing being generally accepted if running a dog long distances was harmful ?

I have had quotes off them for climbing before, never used them but they were fairly good price wise.

I do now and again with normal ones (the dog freaks out when a grenade goes off) but i fancy a set of the Dolby Digital 5.1 ones with a mic for XBOX live, £160 though !!

I've actually put STW as my clan tag on the off chance that someone i play against might recoginse it. Couldn't think of anything mildly amusing!

Cool, might assume that clan tag then

I think its got more scope for a better game online than single player, it was just too short, i finished it in 2 evenings, i am really enjoying it online though.

Loving the killstreak rewards especially the sentry guns !!

Does anybody know why they junked the UK side of things ?

I very rarely even go anywhere near the site so have not set anything up ever.

It was just my first impression when looking at it today, be interesting to see how many people go straight away from the homepage, when you first hit it it looks terrrible.

Will have a go at customising it, if i can be bothered !!

Ours was a hotel in the lakes £1000 to use the hotel for the duration of the wedding from Friday night until Sunday morning, food and extras on top of course plus guests had to pay a discounted rate to stay the night.

£4K is a total rip off for venue hire alone
