Verbier 2005, the girls have grown since then, proud of what they achieved and glad that at the end of the holiday they asked if they could go back the next year, now aged 13 and 10 and still going back every year for more.

Both our girls suffer, trips to the Alps were a nightmare, especially on the winding roads, two years ago we were told about ginger tablets, [got them from Holland and Baretts], one the night before and one every day of travel, seemed to work for them on the last two trips, forgot to give them on last years snowboard trip and both were sick on the transfer coach

Replaced a frame via M & S, supplier couldnt replace same frame so got a quote from Stif for frame and rebuild and they paid for it

Used a tow bar ones for 22 years, the first one in 1987 we made and then added to it as the girls came along, bought a Thule 2 years ago and thats ok for 4 bikes

Frame was stripped down and built back up at bike shop, although after a maintenance course I went on at the biginning of the month I could do it my self, frame was prepped at powdercoaters and everything that needed covering was covered, the finish is first class.

It was good to be out there at the same time, will be there in just over five weeks time, lets hope the snow will still be good. Abigale, Katie and myself have entered the mini DH at Chicksands the Saturday before so will have to be careful.

Bought and solld on here for a few years, dont think I have ever made a profit but hope I have helped toward other people getting the most out of our hobbie. Did advertise a frame a few years ago that endered up on ebay before it was paid for, and then through loads of excuses was not bought after it didnt sell on ebay, he’s now buys on classifieds under a different name. We all now who the scammers are, if we dont sell to them or report them, they will soon go to the dogs

Superglue for the cut, puncture repair glew for the patch

As above, superglue cut and then stick old tyre sidewall to inside of tyre over cut, did this on a 1″ cut and tyre was used untill no tread left
