Barclays once lost a cheque of ours for 12,000 Euros. It took a doorstepping the branch manager for them to get action. Our “relationship manager” just buried their head in the sand/failed to answer the phone.

Language visible in the bottom right hand corner?
I feel sure that if you called MS they would understand the issue and provide a solution.
The keyboard would still be a French one?

Expansys have some quite high end Android phones. There has been an Acer Cloudmobile at somewhere near your price point.

    My 2p worth of speculation:
John Hurt is the earlier version of the Dr, before Christopher Ecclestone after McCoy/McGann, the one who ended the time war/Dalek extermination, the “really bad thing” we are alluded to every so often.

PS I like River Song, hope she comes back as a ghost again, but didn’t her regenerating the Dr in the last series, Nazi Germany(?) reset the regeneration counter for him, using up all her own.

I do 3+ days of 10 miles each way each week. I miss it when I have to use the car.
If you have the right phone use Endomondo or other tracker to see how you get on. There may be routes of others that cross yours that may be a good diversion or help finesse bits of your route.
The Winter Warrior Challenge on Endomondo by GrahamS helped get me to turn on the tracker and was another little push to get out of the door and on the way.
    Easy in the summer.

The glass industry has been fined millions of Euros, flat glass and TV tubes (remember those). The companies now are so insular/paranoid that they rarely attend conferences or meetings, contribute to regulation or standards. Agendas no longer have “Any other business” on them.
Not sure where the money from the fines went ❓

    Document processing/Number pages?
Set the extra pages as something different.
If you have a full version of Acrobat.
Can do it for you if it isn’t sensitive.

Our family of four took the Poole-Jersey-St Malo Condor route. Went on first, tied up well in a good secure area. Worked out fine. Left most of our panniers on the bikes.
Same on the way back apart from swapping boat in Guernsey.

Ultimate move to unsettle the cosy Mourinho and Chelsea talks 🙂
    Great manager.
As a Huddersfield fan I wonder if his son’s relegation at Peterborough was a factor too…

PFA award was probably voted on ages ago.
I heard Cameron was looking to launch a Naval Task Force to Paraguay to stop those South Americans from ever biting one of ours ever again! If the Maggie/Falklands moment presents itself it has to be seized upon.

I got the water pump cleaned and working at my father-in-laws. Raised my arms in acclaim, took a while for anyone but the fish to acknowledge.
Good looking project: no engine management systems to let you know if anything is wrong?

Globalti, privatisation saved the railways? So the train owning companies were bought out by the management and were quickly sold on for huge profit – a scandal. Franchises run the routes with varying degrees of public subsidy. Railtrack went bust having to shoulder the bill for the underinvestment in infrastructure. Not sure what public good came of all that. I remember the speed restrictions as the lines were upgraded.
Roads are in the same position of massive investment needed after longstanding underspending.

First in Sheffield I have had no problems. The others seem less aware/disciplined as far as cyclists are concerned.
A National Express coach made some dodgy decisions wrt overtaking that I wouldn’t have done in my much shorter car.
I have seen cyclists in London do stuff I wouldn’t do myself. Having lived there though I think London road users are better than average; crowded roads with recognition for more “give and take”.

Damnation, this cancer stuff keeps taking, whoever you may be. A great writer. Excession is the one novel I keep going back to for new angles on the story but Use of Weapons and Surface Detail are challengers after the latter’s ending!
I feel a Bullheart donation coming on.

The Graveyard Book though would contrast things.
Edit: a passing reference/description to Anansi characters in American Gods, not much though.

We had ants last year in our office, not that many but enough to catch the eye and divert attention away from screens.
Food sources are the key, once they find a nearer better food source then you won’t see them. Disrupt their foraging now by keeping the area round the cat’s bowl clean and they may drop in numbers.
Don’t feed the cat, let it eat ants.

“You are only as good as your last issue,” my boss used to say. Try and make sure the next one is betterer. Mix up how you do things rather than features do news pages first or somesuch.
Now I am the boss, I remain amazed that I can get any work done without all the general day to day distractions.
Ms TPT lost her mum last November and has found it hard, sleep has not been good, key dates are hard, Mother’s Day the most recent. Just got to let time heal, while hanging onto some real memories.

Stansted Express into London Liverpool Street? Then you are parked up at airport and know how much time you have. Gives you less time in the car. Airport parking though.
    +1 Duxford
    or Cambridge
Edit: Footflaps has a state of the art man shed in Cambridge, well worth trying to see it before it gets established on the tourist trail.

Cougar, looks like and edge crack so Thule fitting probably the initiator.
Spontaneous glass failure can be down to incomplete thermal soaking to get rid of possible nickel sulphide inclusions. Phase change at raised temperatures can cause this.
Happened to Waterloo International train station. The Hyundais in Australia are a good example. Clusters of problems, a thermocouple with nickel dripped onto the molten glass surface reacting with sulphur.
Joat’s Megane could have been the same but 70 mph could also be quite dynamically stressful for any old edge crack to take that energy and run with it.

Isn’t there some urban myth about babies looking like father for the first year to soften the blow of sleep deprivation?
