I can see why Prior gets some stick, how he got his place back at the start of the summer when injured and having done nothing on the field of play was bemusing. While Carberry has been given no re-entry.
KP his own enemy, but he did score a lot of centuries in a manner that only Sir Viv could match. Bound to be some downside to that level of genius, and not helped by the IPL era we have entered.

The devil you know in the case of Amazon, they do have greater reach than most others. PCPro columnist Kevin Partner has had positive things to say about making a real income.

Other outlets are available though Amazon are the dominant player. They also offer print on demand through their CreateSpace platform.
Lightning Source/Ingram offer routes for print on demand and eBook distribution.
Calibre software can be used to make your book across a number of formats.
There’ll be an iPad app too for their book store products.
Is it straight text or are there pictures, mono or colour?

Some good work being done on bone building and biocompatibility by Julian Jones of Imperial College and Robert Hill at Queen Mary College and Delia Brauer at Otto Schott Institut. Bioglass and glass-ceramics matching bone minerals and promoting bone growth.

Bouquet of flowers for the stressed neighbour when you go round to borrow some sugar. Sit down, have a chat, try and get an angle on her point of view. It could be a very long tennancy trying to be ever more creative to subvert/wind up.
We had a Mr Traffic at our previous lease, a royal PITA with fluorescent yellow coat but this was with five or nine spaces per office with n+1 people wanting a slot.
No cycle rack, no-one would sacrifice a space.

Well done, 20 km in 47 minutes is brilliant.

Could you wave to my brother and his family in Cuckfield as you pass through, cheers.

William Gibson (sf author thread elsewhere) has re-Tweeted some good eye witness accounts. Rapid jump to militarisation of a local police force: cop cars one minute to armoured personnel carriers with snipers on top in one move.

The problem with the Arabian states looking after things in their own back yard is that they are the ones who financed the whole Syria destabilisation/Arab Spring, bought lots of weapons now in the hands of IS(IS) and probably more of their citizens are there than UK ones.

William Gibson re-Tweeted the comment: Someone in the future will be looking back on now and confusing it with the Middle Ages.

The dots are there for a reason.
Toughening or laminating to ensure safety.
That will be quite a weight of glass concentrated along a thin line so a “frame” may be still there but invisible.
UK Glass used to do some challenging domestic work.

Jenn reviewed a coffee fibre top in the magazine a few years ago. She liked it.
I have a base layer, comfortable and durable.
The shorts start to lose their elasticity after a bit, the pairs I have had I end up pulling them up all the time off the saddle.
Good value or cheap? Hard to say.
Amazon have reviews of their stuff too, I think Tenn have a shop on there.

    Blimey, forgot David Brin!
Everything by him, the Uplift series first three (not sure about the second set of three), Earth, the Practice Effect.

New Model Army by Adam Roberts is chilling, compliments the early Ken MacLeod books in some ways.
Writers of Wyndam’s generation? Poul Anderson, Heinlein, Moorcock all have echoes/familiarities. Bob Shaw and Keith Roberts are good UK authors.
I keep returning to Excession by Ian M Banks but also Matter, Surface Detail and The Hydrogen Sonata. So sad to lose him, there was another Culture book.

Seven teams scrapping out for the top spot. Though Everton may not be as good as we expect. Chelsea will win this mini league, but may not be champions.
Thirteen teams scrapping it out for survival, any of them to go down; a lot of mediocre managers and chairmen and players in the incumbents and QPR.
Leicester and Burnley to be the wild cards to do the unexpected.

I had a Ford car key done at Timpson’s, 04 plate with keycode. They did a good job and the key works well, £40 when I was expecting £100+.

It is the scratched screen that looks worse than my Motorola was at the end of it’s contract. Z1 ain’t got Gorilla glass or it’s equivalent.

Pilkington do a hydrophilic coating on some of their glasses, the water sheets off, other companies have tried out hydrophobic coatings. I remember seeing a coating done by Tadanaga where the water drop jumped off the glass like it was a ball bearing, complete repulsion of water.
Tech is out there but not for my light and cheap plastic lenses, my specs will keep steaming up in pubs.

I think it is doing one of those critical memory dumps on Windows start up.
It may not be too bad a deal, and not critical for the life of the machine. The memory slot is a much worse problem. Have you enough RAM in the one slot available? Can you swap it out for some other to see what happens.
When it has started properly look at installing CCleaner, there is a free version, and give everything a good clean. Check Startup to see if everything is what you want.

Blue feet! How, why, what’s the evolutionary advantage for blue feet?
People in general do not like blue food but I guess the birds feet have been around longer than blue food colouring.

Nice pub on the green at Heath near Wakefield, a choice of two pubs in Wentworth and then the Tap. Yes! What bike race?

But the detour to Penistone/Oxspring would miss Wentworth? I would vote to keep to the N-S route.
Watch out for the pipeline works by Meadowhall, you may have to come off the Five Weirs route for a short stretch just after the Vue Cinema/Oasis.
The old Barnsley canal is a great stretch, contrasts well with the wastelands elsewhere.

Took more than five weeks for our rescue dog to poo anywhere but in the garden, sort of institutionalised, enclosed area thing.
Takes time to overcome learned things from earlier in their life: give it time, try and do it without drugs or you’ll be reliant on them.

It’s the knighthood bit that jars. Surely there must have been some vetting, checking up on rumours to a small extent at least. The weight of the money he raised counted for everything at the time I guess.

Energy of impact would be half mass of car times speed squared.
If accelerating the duration of the impact could see the speed increase by a little so you could average out the initial and final impact speeds.

Stoffel: I too wish England players would play better, but not let passion and commitment get in the way of playing with intelligence. Head over heart in that heat, maybe heart over head on a rainy November mid-week league cup match.

Riverside, Brentford I remember as a decent concert venue.
Read the Antipope as stated above, have a pint of large in the Flying Swan, keep an eye out on darts night.
Brentford is home to Marchant the wonder bike? A little bit of us all exists in Brentford. 😀
Find somewhere with a good cycle route to Uxbridge? Then you can forget the car.
